Marguerite & Le Roy
- Soundtrack
A popular dance team in vaudeville, Marguerite and LeRoy (first names needed) played in many theaters and cabarets in the early 1930s. They peppered their act with jazz, tap, and even Latin-American rhythms. At the Great Lakes Theatre in Buffalo (March, 1931) they shared the bill with Buddy Ebsen and Vilma Ebsen and singer Jack Heller. In 1932 they appeared in vaudeville at New York's legendary Roxy with the Fanchon and Marco Girls. Throughout the early 1930s the team played dates in New York as well as an engagement at the Grsoevenor House in London in July of 1934. LeRoy is not to be confused with the more famous dancer Hal Le Roy.
