The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans are already convinced that Sutton Stracke will be the star of Season 14 after footage of a cast scene was leaked online.
The clip showed Sutton and her costars inside a dimly lit restaurant and her dramatic hand gestures caught our attention.
Now, viewers are banking on Sutton to carry the season amid a recent cast shakeup that costs Annemarie Wiley and Crystal Minkoff their diamonds.
Filming is underway and we haven’t gotten many leaks about the drama going down in the 90210 but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening.
Season 13 left some fractured friendships in its wake with both Sutton and Dorit Kemsley on the outs with Kyle Richards after a tense faceoff at the reunion.
Rhobh Executive producer Alex Baskin has teased drama between Dorit and Kyle who’ve already filmed scenes together following their friendship fallout.

Saint John was the chief marketing officer at Netflix from 2020-22 and held the same post at Endeavor prior to that. Some people were surprised by the news that Dorit Kemsley and her husband Paul “Pk” Kemsley were separating, but not Sutton Stracke.
During a recent interview, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star got candid about her castmate’s marriage and admitted the split wasn’t shocking.
For quite some time rumors have swirled that the couple was on the rocks.
However, while Dorit admitted to experiencing hard times in their marriage she claimed at the Season 13 reunion that she and Pk had resolved their issues and were stronger than ever.
That didn’t last very long because a few days ago the couple put out a joint statement that they had separated, right before filming began for the new season of Rhobh.
We’ll have to wait and see just how much Dorit will choose to share about her marital issues, but until then you can expect everyone to chime in.

Dorit Kemsley is responding to critics in the comments section of her recent Instagram post, in which she revealed that she had separated from Paul “Pk” Kemsley.
The couple released a joint statement last week, revealing they were parting ways after nine years of marriage.
The decision came after months of rumors and just as filming was picking back up for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14.
Dorit had previously spoken out about the rumors surrounding her marriage and noted that she and Pk were stronger than ever despite some hurdles.
One fan commented on the social media post to remind her that she previously said she and Pk were “stronger than ever.”
Dorit fired back right below the comments section.

After much back and forth, Kyle Richards is confirming what we already knew:
The Og cast member is returning for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14.
That much we learned over the weekend when filming spoilers teased her filming at an event at Sutton Stracke‘s home.
Richards, who has played coy about whether she would return to the long-running reality series, took to Instagram to reveal the news.
“Let’s do this,” she captioned a photo of herself dressed up for the event alongside a diamond emoji.
News of her return isn’t too surprising.
What will Kyle Richards’ Season 14 storyline be?
As the sole original cast member, there’s every reason to believe she has a certain amount of pull with producers.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 is officially in production, and we have the first photos to prove it.
According to Queens of Bravo, the cast of Rhobh Season 14 assembled at an event hosted by Sutton Stracke.
After months of rumors about her involvement in the show, Kyle Richards is back, and we can only assume she’ll be holding her diamond for another season.
Richards fell out of favor with many fans after Rhobh Season 13 charted the breakdown of her marriage to Mauricio Umansky and the continued questions about her relationship status with Morgan Wade.
Producers allegedly gave the Halloween star an ultimatum to speak on camera about the alleged relationship, or she risked not being asked back.
Given her status as the only original cast member, the alleged ultimatum felt like a bit of a reach, but anything is possible when casting these shows.

Netflix is reorganizing its marketing department, promoting some key executives, while eliminating several positions. As part of the move, 25 people from Netflix’s global marketing team of more than 500 employees will be laid off, Variety has learned.
The cuts come after Netflix announced in its most recent earnings call that it had lost 200,000 subscribers, with the slowing revenue growth causing its share price to slide. Netflix has signaled to investors that it is committed to maintaining operating margins of 19 to 20. However, insiders say that the plans to shake up the alignment of the marketing department were hatched last year. The goal is to de-layer the executive team and simplify its reporting structure, as well as trim costs.
As part of that effort, Shelly Gillyard, vice president of U.S. and Canada series marketing, and Jonathan Helfgot, vice president of U.S. and Canada film marketing, are both being promoted to co-lead Netflix’s U.

Updated: Several editorial staffers and contractors have been laid off at Tudum, Netflix’s fan site that’s devoted to behind-the-scenes news relating to the streaming giant’s content.
The cuts were part of a restructuring of Netflix’s marketing department, with Jonathan Helfgot, VP of Marketing for Netflix Original Films and Shelly Gillyard, VP of U.S. series marketing, named co-heads of marketing for the U.S. and Canada. They fill the position left vacant when Marian Lee was named Netflix chief marketing officer, replacing Bozoma Saint John when she exited last month.
Meanwhile, Lucinda Martinez who’d joined Netflix several months ago as VP of multicultural marketing, has left to start her own company.
All in all, 25 positions were eliminated, the bulk at Tudum. The site launched in December and was named after Netflix’s signature sound cue. The streamer uses the platform to offer up more content...

Netflix has named Marian Lee chief marketing officer, replacing Bozoma Saint John who’s been in the post since 2020.
Lee joined the streamer in the summer of last year as VP of marketing for the U.S. and Canada. Lee had previously worked at Spotify, Condé Nast and J.Crew.
“Marian is a strategic marketer with deep experience not just in entertainment but also more broadly having worked at fashion and media brands,” said Netflix co-ceo and chief content officer Ted Sarandos. “When she joined Netflix last year, she had an immediate impact on the marketing team and has demonstrated that she’s an exceptional leader, who understands how to drive conversations around brands and popular culture.”

Variety cover star Jeymes Samuel could not have been more ready for his big moment. The writer, director, producer and composer was suited and booted as he stepped onto the bright blue carpet for the Los Angeles launch of his wild Western “The Harder They Fall” on Wednesday night at the Shrine Auditorium.
Since the movie presents a fresh take on the dusty genre, the dress code was super fly. Samuel, stars Jonathan Majors, Regina King and Deon Cole, and the film’s producer Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter went for an “all Black everything” moment, all showing up swagged-out in head to toe onyx. Of course, absolutely everyone in attendance hoped to catch a glimpse of Beyoncé, who’d posted photos glam snaps on Instagram ahead of the screening’s start, teasing photographers and reporters into thinking she could make a red carpet appearance. (Spoiler alert: She did not. But Queen...

There has been no better time than now for TV leaders and content creators to establish new trends. After the pandemic, many consumers were looking for entertainment that catered to them to take over their ample free time. At Variety’s Entertainment and Technology Summit, entertainment executives, leaders and public figures spoke about the new wave of media content and bouncing back after the pandemic — either continuing to stick with what was working before, or latching on to new ideas that seems to pick up traction over the last year.
We Are Constantly Rebranding
In a keynote conversation, Netflix’s chief marketing officer Bozoma Saint John explained the process of constantly rebranding, which can help consumers develop personal, emotion-driven relationships to the products they engage with.
“When I was a kid, I moved around quite a bit. And every time you show up on the playground at recess, you had to reintroduce yourself.

Bozoma Saint John, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, posted a message Saturday from the company’s Co-CEO and Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, in which he discussed the recent firing of three senior marketing executives over disparaging remarks they sent in a public company Slack channel.
The three employees of the film marketing team were let go for making comments critical of other Netflix staffers, which were not characterized as racist, sexist, homophobic or gross misconduct, a source tells Variety.
The company has not named the executives. But Sarandos said on Linkedin that employees talking about fellow employees, sometimes while in a meeting with them, goes against Netflix standards of conduct. Sarandos specified that the messages were about their peers, not about their superiors as had been previously reported by a trade publication.
“What happened here was not simply venting on Slack or a single conversation,” he wrote in a message.

Three senior marketing executives at Netflix have been fired for engaging in “mean office gossip” about their colleagues on Slack, a person with knowledge of the terminations told TheWrap. That number represents approximately half of Netflix’s staff at that level in the marketing division.
Netflix denies that CMO (chief marketing officer) Bozoma Saint John (pictured above) and vice president of marketing for original films, Jonathan Helfgot, were among those criticized in the Slack communications in question, as reported by THR. Helfgot, the immediate boss of the terminated executives, was the one who fired them, we’ve confirmed.
“The depiction of the Slack messages in question being critical of marketing leadership is untrue,” a Netflix spokesperson said in a statement.
Netflix feels the Slack messages violated the company’s transparency culture. The fired executives were under the impression their messages were private, but the complaints were eventually uncovered and reported by an uninvolved party.

Netflix has nabbed a podcast industry veteran to fill a plum, first-of-its-kind role, naming N’Jeri Eaton director of podcast programming.
Eaton arrives at Netflix after serving at both Apple -- as head of content for less than a year -- and NPR for a total of four years, most recently as senior manager of program acquisitions, Variety reports. She will be a key member of Netflix’s editorial and publishing team, to be headed by just-tapped Michelle Lee, the former editor-in-chief of Allure.
Lee, for her part, leads social media, podcasts, and Netflix's other editorial endeavors, including its Queue magazine. She reports to CMO Bozoma Saint John, another Apple vet.

Netflix chief marketing officer Bozoma Saint John, along with Grammy-winning singer Lizzo and filmmaker-comedian Pardis Parker will explore “The Case For Optimism” — the theme of the Global Ted Conference, which is returning to Monterey, CA, and back in-person in August.

Organizers said the upcoming series of talks will focus “on building a brighter future for everyone, celebrating the clear-eyed and the bold of heart, those who don’t shy away from the most intractable-seeming problems but rather step toward them to make the case that, even now, hope is possible.”

Bozoma Saint John has a résumé any executive would envy, having led marketing or branding at Pepsi-Cola, Apple Music, Uber and Endeavor before joining Netflix as CMO in June. In other words, it’s a track record that one would think industry insiders would seek to tout as an exemplar of their system working, exceptional merit attracting the top brands.
But instead, in December, Ad Age called Saint John “the CMO most likely to jump jobs in 2021,” casting her career in a cynical light. Readers were swift to call out the publication’s characterization as an incident of bias, singling out and critiquing a rare Black female C-suite exec’s moves with no context or exploration of the myriad ways in which race and gender impact the workplace experience. (Ad Age apologized and revised its story.)

Netflix, like other tech companies, has regularly published data about the diversity of its workforce since 2013. Now the streamer has released its first “inclusion report,” in which the company details its strategy to improve diversity — and where it has fallen short.
“We’ve made good progress over the last three years. But let’s be clear, we’re not where we want to be and we need to do better,” Vernā Myers, Netflix’s VP of inclusion strategy, said in the report.
Specifically, she said, “We could do a much better job at recruiting Hispanic or Latinx and other underrepresented folks into all areas of our company, particularly our leadership.” Netflix also needs to learn more about how to incorporate inclusion practices outside of the U.S. and also must develop ways to measure inclusion progress that “go beyond charting demographics and hiring goals by looking at the entire employee experience,...

Bozoma Saint John, marketing executive extraordinaire, scored big when she took the chief marketing officer gig at Netflix last week, TheWrap has learned. The former Endeavor marketing leader was offered a roughly $7 million payday to work for the streamer, according to an insider familiar with the deal. That package was “dramatically more” than what Saint John was earning at Endeavor, according to the individual. Netflix and Endeavor declined to comment for this article. TheWrap was unable to reach Saint John for comment as well. Saint John, whose contract was up at the end of the year, is just the latest in a slew of notable executives to exit Endeavor. In June, WME lost partner and Worldwide Head of Music Marc Geiger, as well as agent and partner Theresa Kang-Lowe, who left to launch her own management company with an overall deal at Apple TV+. Katie Couric and Bozoma Saint John have joined forces for a podcast series that is designed to be a forum where business and cultural leaders “feel comfortable talking about uncomfortable subjects,” as Saint John explained.
Couric, the veteran journalist, and Saint John, chief marketing officer for Endeavor, have been friendly for the past few years. The two partnered with iHeartMedia earlier this year to produce a limited-series podcast, “Back to Biz with Katie and Boz,” to examine the nation’s reopening process amid the pandemic from the perspective of businesses large and small.
But after the killing of George Floyd on May 25, Couric and Saint John realized the focus of “Back to Biz” needed to expand to the larger systemic social issues of racial inequality and criminal justice reform, which have been reflected in how hard the coronavirus outbreak has hit marginalized communities.

Endeavor said Monday it pivoting its recently launched Fellowship Program, postponed due to Covid-19, to a virtual Summer Series available to all Fellowship applicants in addition to Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society Fellowship and Hbcu in La students. More than 1000 people have registered for the Series, it said, which runs from June 22 to August 24.
The Fellowship’s goal, to provide access and education to students who do not have a direct path into the entertainment, sports and fashion industries, remains the same, said Endeavor’s Head of Social Impact Romola Ratnam. “Our partnerships with the Outlier Society Fellowship Program and Hbcu in La will help open a door for the next generation of diverse leaders with the tools they need to succeed, lead and accelerate social change in and throughout our industry.”
“We’re often referred to as gatekeepers, which is why our industry has to reflect the world we live in today.
