Nearly 14 years after the launch of his late night talk show, a slim and trim Jimmy Kimmel is in the best physical shape of his life. Nonetheless, the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host admits that these days, he feels a bit more like an “old, grizzled veteran.”
The hosts that Kimmel competed against for more than a decade are now mostly retired. And the late night wars are pretty much a thing of the past, now that most viewers are watching highlight clips the next morning on social media. (How peaceful is it now? Kimmel is even executive producing the ABC game show “Big Fan,” hosted by competitor Conan O’Brien’s sidekick, Andy Richter.)
Of course, Kimmel has felt a bit like that “old, grizzled veteran” since the moment his show launched in 2003. “It was nothing like I expected it would be,” he recently reflected in his Hollywood office, after...

Forget spoiler sites and dissecting everything Emily Maynard and her final two fellows, Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Jef Holm, are saying during interviews. If you really want to know who wins "The Bachelorette," just ask Jane.
"Bachelorette" fan Jane had apparently just left the oral surgeon after having her wisdom teeth removed, and someone was kind enough to record her emotional ramblings while she was coming down from the anesthesia.
"Jef Holm?" she slurs with a mouthful of cotton. "He's gonna win 'The Bachelorette.'"
"Do you think he would be happier with you?" the camera woman (her mom?) asks.
And that's when the waterworks start.
"I just want him to be happy," Jane sobs. "She deserves to be happy. Her fiance died."
Isn't that how we all really feel about Emily? Don't we all just want her to find happiness?
The video even got Jef's attention. Tuesday (July 17), he tweets,...

Husbands the Series finished their Kickstarter campaign at $60,000, over their $50,000 goal, with the additional money they can make it all bigger and better. Thanks to all who contributed. We'll be following up with Jane, Sean and Cheeks soon.
Joe Eszterhas has released his tape of Mel Gibson going on a rant against his baby momma and Eszterhas. It's pretty graphic, and not at all good for his already tarnished image.
The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have been hit with a lawsuit for racial discrimination for never having had a bachelor or bachelorette of color. It would be fairly hard to prove bias in casting based on what little I know of the system, but after 25 seasons of this dreck it is fairly indefensible.
Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly have reupped with Fox News for multi-year contracts that will keep their colorful versions of facts on the air for a very long time.
