Burt Huete

Burt Huete was born and raised in New Orleans Louisiana. He attended Schaumburg Elementary and Livingston Middle School where he participated in many school plays. As a result, throughout his life, the arts have been a great inspiration and have kept him balanced. He went on to attend Abramson Senior High, where his father, Clifford Huete taught History. After retiring from public education, his father moved the family to the mountains of Western North Carolina where Burt finished out his senior year at Watauga High School in Boone North Carolina. He then returned to Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University, where he earned his degree in management. After graduating from LSU, Burt moved back to North Carolina, this time to the Queen City of Charlotte. Here he began his corporate career, working with Spartan Food Systems, General Mills' Olive Garden. Mr. Huete traveled throughout the United States as a system integration projects manager, structuring and implementing new systems to execute the companies' demands for both existing and new store openings. Five years after working in the corporate world, Burt left to follow his entrepreneurial spirit, launching several successful projects and business.
With a famed brew master, Burt launched "Lagerhead Brewing Company". He partnered with the brew master to contract brew out of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana establishing accounts throughout the south eastern United States. "LagerHead" had national accounts with the New Orleans Super Dome and private labeled accounts for the restaurant chain, Ralph and Kacoos labeling the beer Ralph and Kacoos "Laughing Gator Beer"; for the "Delta Steamboat Company" labeling it "Delta Steamboats Amber Ale" and securing all distribution through Crown Beverage.
Mr. Huete also developed Huete Enterprises LLC a real estate acquisition and developing company acquiring over fifty homes and two condominium buildings for rental and/or eventual resale purposes.
Huete's first venture into the motion picture industry earned him a credit of "Associate Producer" on "Sea of Fear" which "Lions Gate" distributed nationally and "Maverick Entertainment" distributed internationally. Presently, Huete has established Luculent Films, LLC. Employing strategic alliances with several established industry partners, Luculent has a slate of eight feature films and an animated television series in development.
