Sam Sulam is a Latino director, photographer, and editor. He resides in New York City where he has established himself as a leading creative in nonfiction work, exploring a variety of subcultures and topics such as deported military veterans in Mexico, underground hip hop in Paris, and the cypher scene in NYC.
A graduate of the School of Cinematic Arts at University of Southern California, Sam's career trajectory includes an early stint as an art director at Ogilvy and Mather in NYC where he collected awards for Cannes Lions, One Show, Webby, and Clio Awards before turning his focus to directing commercials, music videos, and branded content. In 2022 Sam was named a finalist for ADC Young Guns.
Sam's work has involved working with artists such as Quavo, Lil Baby, Tate McRae, Kidsuper and Diplo, and directing award-winning documentaries like End of Tunnel which was recognized by Booom TV, Nowness, and won Best Documentary at the Nighthawk Arts Festival.
