Princess Catherine announced that she is battling cancer, following a planned abdominal surgery in January. Her doctors discovered the cancer (the palace is not revealing the type) when tests later returned with positive results.
The world was stunned today after a prerecorded video dropped, with Kate calmly explaining that she has cancer and is undergoing treatment.

William’s last minute cancellation caused concern with social media posters speculating that the reason had to do with Kate’s health.
William’s decision not to attend the memorial service for King Constantine came as a surprise at the time, and the palace did not give a reason why at the time other than that it was “personal.

Kate Middleton’s out of the hospital after a “planned” abdominal surgery. But she didn’t get a visit from her and Prince William’s kids. Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, were nowhere to be seen in or around The London Clinic during their mom’s nearly two-week stay. The reason being, per a report, is that George, Charlotte, and Louis had school. Plus, as Kensington Palace noted in a statement about the Princess of Wales’s surgery, she wanted to keep a sense of “normality” her children

Kate Middleton recently spent about two weeks in the hospital in London after undergoing what the royal family described as “planned” abdominal surgery. The two weeks were mostly for recovery, and the Princess of Wales is doing the majority of her recovery at home now, likely not returning to royal duties until some time in April.
While Kate has plenty of people rallying around her, the public hardly caught a glimpse of anyone — from Prince William to her parents — visiting the princess. Here’s why.

Pippa Middleton married James Matthews in Berkshire, UK, on May 20, 2017, and naturally, one of the esteemed guests was her older sister, Kate. While the duchess opted out of a traditional matron of honor role - reports said she didn't want to "upstage her sister" on the big day - she did fulfill sweet sisterly wedding duties, like tending to the bride's Giles Deacon gown, fixing her veil, and wrangling all the tiny page boys and flower girls, including her own two kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

A listing for the property boasts a "a master en suite with a picturesque view," "lovely morning light," and "a double reception room." Needless to say, I'm ready to move in!

A lot of Brits made special plans in the days leading up to Kate Middleton's April 2011 royal wedding to Prince William. The father of the bride, however, went above and beyond and commissioned a coat of arms for the whole Middleton family to mark the occasion. Yes, Michael Middleton commissioned the heraldic design — calling upon Thomas Woodcock, Garter Principal King of Arms, from the College of Arms in the City of London — all for the royal sum of $6,100. According to BBC News, royal experts said the coat "marks the increased social status of [Kate's] parents and her potential as a future queen." Shortly after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their engagement to the world, we've been counting down the days to their royal wedding on Saturday, May 19, the event that they promised will be a moment of "fun and joy" which will "reflect their characters and personalities." So, given that Meghan has long been a committed advocate for gender equality, it seems only appropriate that the royal-to-be will be re-dressing the male bias of one particular wedding tradition: by giving a speech at the reception that will follow the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor.
