You know what I like best about hometown dates, rose lovers? The chance that maybe, juuuuust maybe, one of the relatives involved will react like a normal human being — meaning, with true, intractable skepticism — to the whole thing. A skeptic sighting is usually rare (see: Ashley’s tattooed sister Chrystie on The Bachelorette), but it’s always beautiful. Tonight, Sean met two such doubting relatives on his “journey.” I’ll steer clear of spoilers here — stay tuned for my full recap later tonight (Update: Click over for Kristen’s Bachelor episode 8 recap and Chris Harrison’s Bachelor blog) — but if...

Listen up, rose lovers: The Bachelor is sick of your s–t, okay? Yes, they know that only 12.5 percent of their 24 “winning” “couples” have ended up at the altar, and that most break up 20 minutes as soon as the After the Final Rose credits roll… but “this show is and always will be dedicated to helping people find meaningful, life long relationships,” says Chris Harrison, and lots of random fameosexuals have gotten married thanks to Mike Fleiss’ evil empire: Holly and Blake! Deanna and Stephen Stagliano! John Presser and Tara Durr! (Wait, who?) Anyhow, enough is enough, haters — if you...

Just the question whether we'd get along as people," J.P. told ETonline. "Our real relationship started once we started living together."
Since exchanging personally written vows in their California ceremony, Ashley has found that the institute of marriage has brought "a sense of security and forever that didn't exist before" in the relationship.

An insider told Us Weekly that "Ashley danced with the belly dancers" after she and around 40 guests were treated to huge cupcakes by Cake Boss' Buddy Valastro. The insider added, "She's such a good sport about it." As for the cupcakes, one of them was "red velvet and 9 inches tall". The source added that it was "so heavy" that "it took three of [J.P.'s friends] to pick it up!"

As sisters we sat riveted to our TV sets during The Bachelorette finale as Ashley Hebert's sister Chrystie Cobb nearly derailed the show's fairy tale romance. This season's hopeful bride-to-be introduced her two final suitors to her family. While Chrystie clicked with Ben, she wasn't so sure about J.P. Rosenbaum. Not only did she make it clear to her sister but she confronted her suitor, who it turns out was Ashley's top choice. In a recent conference call interview Ashley and J.P. talked about the impact of Chrystie's criticism.
Ashley addressed the fact that Chrystie felt that her sister was too much for J.P. and that they didn't seem like a good fit. She remarked, "What people think about relationships and who [is right] for them, they immediately think of the person that is similar to them. And for me I think I need somebody to balance me.

For years, Bachelorette Ashley Hebert‘s father Gregg Hebert was not part of her life.
In fact, when Ashley was competing on The Bachelor, she bonded with Brad Womack over the fact that they both had deadbeat dads. She told Brad about her father’s battle with alcohol and how he was once homeless. When Ashley was filming The Bachelor, she didn’t even know where her dad was — but a few months later, she was reunited with Greg during a very “emotional” visit!
At the age of one, Ashley’s mother Laurie filed for divorce from her Gregg — and in 1991, while Gregg was staying in a rehab facility called Serenity House, the divorce was finalized. As the years passed, the addiction separated Gregg from his family.
