Irene González(V)

Born Irene González Aranda, in Girona, Spain on September 9th of 1986.
At the early age of five, her parents enrolled her to rhythmic
gymnastics, where she acquired a lot of experience as both a dancer and
a performer. At age eight, she decided to switch sports to be a
basketball player, which she did until she turned eighteen. Recently
graduated from Prep School, at age twelve she started secondary School,
at "Pompeu Fabra Salt". At that time, she started showing interest for
Art History (specially Medieval Art and Renaissance). Throughout High
school, she was an average student, although she was very good at
chemistry, natural science, and history. At age sixteen, she attended
"l'Institut Salvador Espriu", what is equivalent to High school in the
USA, where she focused on the sciences. At that stage, she started to
learn French and English. She successfully graduated and got into
"Universitat de Girona" (University), majoring on Tourism. She was very
much into traveling, therefore Geography, History and Languages were
her favorite subjects, as well as German and Italian. In 2007, as she
was getting very good at English, she took into adventure, traveling to
Norway on an exchange program for students, and she stayed there for
five months. While in University, Irene took advantage and traveled
around Europe, and she started realizing she wanted to travel abroad.
As some of her best friends were studying in places like, Canada, the
USA and Japan, in 2008, she started to work in a 4 stars Hotel, and she
met very interesting people. Two years later, she and one of her good
friends and also colleague, decided to study abroad and on September of
2010, they left to Washington State, studying at Evergreen University
College in Olympia. She always showed interest in the arts, and while
in Washington, Irene took a job as an actress on a short film called
"Who's There?" by her friend Pau Masó.
