Leticia Peres was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil where
she grew up with her parents and three brothers. At age 16, she left
Brazil to model in Japan and many other places in Asia where she also
learned English and Japanese. She studied acting in Brazil during
breaks from international modeling work and moved to NY to pursue
acting in 2008. She now lives in Los Angeles, CA.
She was discovered as a model by a scout in a small modeling agency in
Brazil at age 14. She has traveled the world and built a career in
Tokyo, Japan where she was offered to become a Talent on Japanese TV
but decided that she would rather pursue a career in acting. After
studying in Brazil for two years, she moved to New York. There she shot
the feature film ParAmor (2009) and many student films. In Los Angeles,
she shot student films and played Jill in the horror H1N1, a short film
to be presented at Sundance Film Festival 2011.
