- An L.A. native, Krissy Winters was born Kristin Claudine MacQueen and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Dramatic from an early age, Krissy grew up putting on shows for her parents - complete with costumes, props, and musical numbers. By the time she was a preteen, she'd graduated from tap dancing in the kitchen to dancing for the stage. Her big break came at 14 years old, when a casting director spotted her and brought her to the attention of Judy Savage and The Savage Agency. Shortly thereafter, Krissy made her debut as the Featured Girl Who Could Cry on Cue (unofficial credit) in Blink 182's "All The Small Things" music video.
Being a self-professed "theater geek," Krissy spent the next 10 years of her life working in off-off-off-off-off Broadway (aka the L.A. theater scene). She's done everything from straight plays and dramas to improv comedy, and (of course) plenty of musical theater.
In addition to acting, Krissy's also an accomplished writer and radio host. A graduate of CSUNS's nationally accredited Journalism program, her work has been published in print, on the air, and online. She even spent her last semester of college working as paid producer, writer and anchor of the morning drive-time news for 88.5FM, KCSN.
In 2010, Krissy started working for The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. She also began hosting a weekly podcast with her "movie geek" husband, Justin Winters.- IMDb Mini Biography By: BJ Kale
