Alexander was born in Linz, Austria and grew up in the suburb Traun.
Growing up close to Upper Austria's capital allowed him to take part in
theatre and acting already at a young age. As a teenager he played in
various Operas at the Landestheater Linz and was an extra in a few
movies which were filmed in the area. He then studied Theater, Film &
Media studies at the University of Vienna and at this time worked as a
director's assistant at the Landestheater Linz. From 2006 to 2011 he
studied acting at the Kunst Universität Graz and played regularly at
the Schauspielhaus in Graz. Noteworthy roles include: Guildenstern in
"Hamlet" (directed by Theu Boermans) and Karl Menger in the Nestory
awarded "Geister in Princeton" (directed by Anna Badora). 2011 marked
his comeback in Upper Austria, where he has become an audience favorite
playing in "Oscar" at the Linzer Kellertheater and "An ideal husband"
at Schloss Traun just to name a few credits.
