Corjan is a Dutch entrepreneur with a love for mysteries. He has more than 25 years of historical research under his belt, specializing in the Middle Ages and Renaissance France. He co-authored the non-fiction, historical adventure mystery book "The Jerusalem Files" (Watkins / Penguin Random House) with American historical researcher Christopher Morford.
Corjan is a recurring cast member of the American TV reality series the Curse of Oak Island since 2019, bringing his unique historical insights to the screen for audiences worldwide.
As a longtime researcher of the mystery of Rennes-le-Château, Corjan hosted the Rennessence podcast with the late Philip Coppens and Andrew Gough, while he participated in several TV documentaries including the Forbidden History series, alongside Jamie Theakston for BBC Yesterday.
In his spare time, Corjan is an avid musician. His musical career started in 2005 when he launched a single on a USB-Stick which was a revolutionary idea at the time. He showed his sense of innovation again when in 2010 he released his "Mystery Pop" album containing songs inspired by popular mystery books, endorsed and co-promoted by their authors including NY-Times bestsellers Glenn Cooper and Kathleen McGowan. The idea led to a nomination for the prestigious Eurosonic Interactive Artist award and led to much attention in the media as well as rocketing sales.
In 2014, Corjan founded electropop act Stage Republic and released its acclaimed debut album 'Firstage', leading to a streak of award wins and nominations for independent artists in the United States.
In 2019 Corjan switched musical genres and started to release vocal & songwriting collaborations with a selection of DJ's and dance music producers, on some of the world's biggest electronic music labels, resulting in 50 million streams of his music on the TikTok platform and 10 million on Spotify.
