United Talent Agency (UTA) has acquired influencer firm Digital Brand Architects (Dba), bringing Dba's roster of fashion, beauty, and lifestyle clients into its fold.
As part of the deal, UTA also gets Dba’s subsidiary Digital Brand Products, which makes and markets licensed products for Dba’s clients, and Dear Media, Dba’s female-forward podcast studio. Financial details of the acquisition have not been made public.
Dba, which was founded in 2010, currently represents more than 140 influencers across interest areas, including beauty YouTubers Manny Mua (4.9 million subscribers), Laura Lee (4.4 million), and Patrick Starrr (4.3 million), fashion designers Gabi Gregg and Aimee Song, actress and lifestyler Genevieve Padalecki, and Cupcakes and Cashmere founder Emily Schuman.

BuzzFeed's next series will spotlight creators who are looking to become Feed Famous. The media company's As/Is brand (formerly known as Boldly) will play host to a competition series that will pit aspiring videomakers against one another across a series of challenges.
Feed Famous will be hosted by BuzzFeed's Jazzmyne Robbins (known online as Jazzmyne Jay) and will feature a rotating panel of judges that will include social media notables like Amanda Steele and Gabi Gregg. Across episodic challenges, Feed Famous contestants will be asked to show of their personality, self-determination, and moxie. Once the finale arrives, the frontrunners will participate in both a photo shoot and a runway show in order to figure out which competitor will claim the "feed famous" title.
