When we reviewed Trauma Therapy: Psychosis it was mentioned the fillm was a reworked version of The Vance Institute. A was originally shot with the intent of being released in black and white with a few colour scenes. Instead, it was released all in colour.
There was also new footage added featuring Tom Sizemore as the host of The Tom Sizemore Show interviewing Victor, one of the characters from the 2019 film Trauma Therapy. After Sizemore died this made a centrepiece of the film’s publicity as his last film despite there being several more of his films yet to be released.
This was shot and edited in without the participation of the original director, Lawrie Brewster who says he was assured he would have the final cut.

A sequel to the 2019 Trauma Therapy, which I remember as not too bad of a film with a lofty concept but sadly a sloppy execution leaving viewers with a middling taste. A sequel that I don’t think anyone was asking for but here we find ourselves. A sequel marred in a touch of controversy due to unhappy directors, overbearing producers, writers, actors and the untimely demise of the late Tom Sizemore.
Apparently, there are two cuts of this movie out in the wilderness. One with and one without Tom Sizemore and to be honest I can’t see there would be much of a difference considering the insignificance of his screen time. But… it is always nice to see the man on screen.

Bridgerton Season 3 will follow Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). Fans of Quinn’s novel might even be getting a visual of that infamous mirror scene between them.

Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) will have a new companion in Bridgerton Season 3. For years, she’s had a strong and solid friendship with Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). However, Lady Whiseltdown and the events of season 2 have changed all of that. It doesn’t seem very easy to imagine Penelope and Eloise returning to a place of total trust and companionship.

To some people, mountains are impossibly remote places, the home of gods; to others, they are a sheltering bulwark against the worst of the weather. To still others, they are a challenge, their very existence inspiring an insatiable desire to get to the top. Michael (Freddie Thorp) had taken a break from climbing after the death of his sister, but is persuaded to return by the opportunity to take on three famous Alpine peaks: the Matterhorn, the Eiger and Mont Blanc. In the process he is drawn into a group of climbers who share his passion to varying degrees, not all of whom know where the edge is. Summit Fever is a film which traverses familiar territory by a route of its own making. When I met director Julian Gilbey, I asked him how it related to his own passion for the sport.

"His sponsors pushed him too hard, man… Demanding bigger, bolder, scarier routes." Saban Films has revealed the first official trailer for Summit Fever, yet another new mountain climbing movie from genre filmmaker Julian Gilbey. This is debuting directly on VOD to watch in October if anyone wants to check it out. A young climber spends a hedonistic summer in Chamonix near Mont Blanc whilst attempting to climb the world's deadliest trio of mountains. This one stars Freddie Thorp, Michel Biel, Mathilde Warnier, Hannah New, Théo Christine, and Ryan Phillippe. "Vanity" is indeed a deadly thing to bring into the mountains, but ironically a series of vane actors are playing these roles, which is literally bringing vanity into these mountains. Everything about this looks and feels so cheesy, I prefer the more authentic mountain movies like 14 Peaks or The Eight Mountains instead. Might still be a fun watch with some pizza and beer.

"Might I be allowed to go up river?" Samuel Goldwyn Films has released an official US trailer for a colonial historic thriller titled Edge of the World, a jungle crusade movie from director Michael Haussman. We already posted the epic UK trailer one month ago. The film takes us on the true "adventures" of Sir James Brooke, who defied the British Empire to rule a jungle kingdom in 1840s Borneo, embarked on a lifelong crusade to end piracy, slavery and head-hunting, and partly inspired both the Rudyard Kipling story "The Man Who Would Be King" and Joseph Conrad's "Lord Jim". To save his people, he must shed Englishness and embrace the jungle: "All of it, the beauty and the blood." The film stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Brooke, along with Dominic Monaghan, Ralph Ineson, Hannah New, Josie Ho, & Bront Palarae. This looks like a very powerful story of defiant men.

Black Sails may be the testosterone-fueled prequel to an equally male-centric tale of Treasure Island, but make no mistake — a couple of beautiful Nassau women in the cast are bosses in the series, which ends its swashbuckling tale this season. Hannah New as Eleanor Guthrie and Jessica Parker Kennedy as Max have commanded fantastic action-filled scenes in this series, which sees the rise of Long John Silver, the continued counsel of Captain Flint and the demise of pirate legends Blackbeard (Edward Teach) and Charles Vane. Despite the preponderance of these meaty male roles, their characters have stayed integral to...read more...

Avast looking just on the surface or the horizon, landlubbers!
Look deep beneath the surface, into the complicated characters and complex plot, as you watch Black Sails online or on TV. That's where you'll find the real buried treasure.
Black Sails Season 4 Episode 2 is characteristically compelling, while still packing action punches.
On the surface, the passionate pirates battle the fuddy-duddy British Crown for control of Nassau.
Five key pirate honchos — Captains Flint, Teach (aka Blackbeard), Jack Rackham and Flint's proteges Long John Silver and Billy Bones — battle to be the rogue king of Nassau and restore it to an unholy, hedonistic den of debauchery. And who wouldn't want that?
On the horizon, pirates could soon liberate thousands of slaves.
And European heavyweights Spain and England could soon throw down on the high seas.
Spain is still missing that bling pirates heisted from its vessel, the Urca de Lima. Spain has warned Goodes Rogers,...

The end is about to begin in the fourth and final season of the Starz series “Black Sails.” The prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic novel “Treasure Island” may be taking its last bow, but not before capturing a massive war in the West Indies between the British settlers and pirates. A new trailer for the drama debuted at New York Comic Con, which shows that the shores of New Providence have never been bloodier.
“Right now, good men are not what the moment requires,” the trailer intones. “Right now, the time calls for dark men to do dark things.” Sounds like a good time.
Blasting cannons and battling ships follow, with John Silver (Luke Arnold), Eleanor (Hannah New), and Captain Flint (Toby Stephens) preparing for war. Confirming that the series will end with a bang, Flint says, “We came here not just to expel England, but to defeat them.

Black Sails, the Treasure Island prequel series that has enjoyed a relatively successful run on Starz, will pull into port for the final time on January 29, 2017 with the premiere of its fourth and final season.
As previously reported, the network is primed to close the book on the swashbuckling series early next year, purely because the creative team involved “couldn’t imagine anything beyond it that would make for a better ending to the story nor a more natural handoff to Treasure Island.” Such is the catch-22 with crafting prequel stories.
But don’t be fooled into thinking that the high seas drama will sail onto Starz in 2017 at half-mast – Black Sails season 4 will find our pirates doing battle in the West Indies, and it’s safe to assume that all involved will be gunning to send off the period piece on a high note, potentially even jostling for a...

She's grown up in a very tough situation and that's made her a strong woman, the sort you really see on screen.
