Emmys voting closed yesterday, but it will be a while before we know who our winners are.
Currently, the Primetime Emmys are scheduled for Monday, January 15th on Fox. The Creative Arts Emmys will take place the weekend before on Saturday, January 6th and Sunday, January 7th, with an edited version of the ceremony airing on Fxx on Saturday, January 13th on Fox. The reason for the push is the ongoing WGA and SAG strikes, which The Film Experience stands with the striking members.
Since voting has closed, there’s nothing more that nominees or studios can do to curry votes or campaign. We’re in a holding period. That doesn’t mean the coverage will stop, but it does mean we can space it out more before we head into Oscar madness.
Expect weekly category analyses across the comedy, drama and limited series/TV movie fields each Tuesday,...

On June 21, “America’s Got Talent” returned with more spectacular auditions on Episode 4 of Season 17. Host Terry Crews welcomed series judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel back to the dais with performances from the fourth set of entertainers. But who were the best performers from the episode? And did any move forward that shouldn’t have? Below we rank the 14 acts who advanced from worst to best.

Season 17 Episode 4 rankings:
14. Justin Rupple: There absolutely is an audience for Justin Rupple. I am just not part of it. His impression of Mark Wahlberg was good though. Social media had a mixed reaction to this act, with many of the naysayers singling out the fact that he was not very exciting to watch. I have to agree on that particular assessment. It will be...

This summer “America’s Got Talent” returned for its 17th season with Terry Crews and stars Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel all taking their places as host and judges once again. As in the past, this season’s champion will take home the 1 million cash prize and the chance to showcase their talent as a headlining act in Las Vegas. So far we’ve seen three installments of initial auditions: episode 1 on May 31, episode 2 on June 7, and episode 3 on June 14. The fourth installment of first round performances featuring 15 more acts aired on June 21.
In this first round, the judges and Terry each make one Golden Buzzer selection each, sending an act of their choice straight through to the live shows. Terry hand-picked saxophonist Avery Dixon, Howie gave his to singer Maddie, and Simon went with vocalist Sara James. Do any of the other judges drop the golden confetti on anyone this time?...

Not many award shows can make a combination of mermen, Korean pop stars and "Chavril" work, but that's exactly what the 2013 Much Music Video Awards did Sunday night in front of a sectioned-off block in downtown Toronto.
Hundreds of fans gathered in front of the MuchMusic building to catch this year's performers and presenters hit the red carpet as well as take to the stage in a two-hour popularity contest celebrating a marriage of video and music.
South Korea's Psy made his debut as this year's co-host and kicked the show off with his renowned hit 'Gangnam Style'. The K-Pop sensation also took home an Mmva for "Viral Video of The Year" with the same song, only to outdo his iconic horse dance with his personal twist on Beyonce's 'Single Ladies'. Psy would then later close the show with his first live performance of 'Gentleman' in Canada, set...
