Travis Coffmann

Travis Coffmann was born in Birmingham, England to West Indian parents. He was always a very academic and vocal young man and
developed a natural talent for drama and the ability to draw and paint
from an early age. His parents actively encouraged this throughout his
childhood.
Travis Coffmann attended Dartmouth High School in Sutton Coldfield, where the likes of British Actor, Matthew Marsden also studied, and fellow class mates included celebrity TV Stars such as Cat Deeley. Travis Coffmann successfully completed his studies there with an excellent portfolio of GCSEs and 'A' Levels. He fulfilled one of his dreams to go to Art School based on his exceptional talent as a fine artist.
Travis Coffmann furthered his education after secondary school; where he went on to study a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Visual Communication Time-Based Media for 3 years at Birmingham City University. He explored multiple different mediums from Animation to Film-making, and it was there he discovered his real passion for Moving Image (Video and Film). There he studied everything from Film History to the hands-on-experience of film-making. He enjoyed film so much he majored in film, producing and directing a number of short films and documentaries.
Travis Coffmann has worked on BBC Real Rooms and BBC House Call learning and fine tuning his production skills in Television and Film. It was at the BBC (Pebble Mill) where he was discovered by Cameramen and Producers to become a TV Presenter.Travis Coffmann was trained by some of the best in Television and was recognized with potential because of his friendly personality,enthusiasm and ability to engage. Travis has presented for SKY and hosted a number of fashion shows in Central London as well as producing voice-overs for corporate companies.
Since then, Travis Coffmann has begun to pursue his childhood passion again for acting since his school days after years of a career in Television, Education and the corporate world. Travis has gone onto study at The London Actors Workshop working alongside industry professionals, all of whom have helped develop his skills and enable him to unravel and explore the craft. Reviews for his performance at The Camden People's Theatre, London of the stage version 'CLOSER' was considered a 'Strong performance' by a new actor.
