- Richard began acting at an early age, playing parts in school plays. As a performing arts major in college, Richard was awarded the lead in university plays, and performed many parts of classic playwrights and some from Broadway classics. After school, Richard attended and graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and from a film school in New York. In 2010, Richard founded Independent Artists Pictures and released a short film titled, "Sydney" (2010), a film festival favorite. Other projects like "The Representative" (2011), and "Hollywood: The Documentary" (2011) soon followed. Best known for playing the lead role in "Sydney" (2010), an Academy award entry for Best Short Film in the year of 2012.
