Ghost of Tsushima had the perfect balance between gameplay and narrative in the video game format and producers believe it is fit for a live-action adaptation. Chad Stahelski will serve as the director and once mentioned his ideal cast to be purely Japanese for authenticity.
There are plenty of talented actors around and one in particular has been on the radar of the fans since the announcement. Hiroyuki Sanada starred in several samurai films and even worked with the director at one point which could pave the way for a role in the upcoming movie.

Ghost of Tsushima was the perfect curtain call for the PlayStation 4 era and Sucker Punch Productions had the rare honor to do it. The developers helped usher the console generation with Infamous: Second Son and closed the chapter with a new franchise that was well-received.
Unfortunately, the developers couldn’t capture the same lightning twice given the hefty development time they are taking for its upcoming project. The gaming community is anticipating a sequel to the 2020 samurai title, and their expectations could be spot on.

It has been a few years since Ghost of Tsushima hit our consoles and took the gaming world by storm, but it wasn’t all down to just Sucker Punch’s inventive nature, as the developers also took some inspiration from other popular franchises that were released at the time.
One of these franchises was from the popular Nintendo line of games, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wilds, while also taking inspiration from other franchises from other studios. However, one major detail that Sucker Punch took inspiration from is something that the sequel will need to expand on to keep it exciting.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is the latest PlayStation first-party title to receive a PC port and the general gaming community is now finally understanding what the hype is all about. Former Xbox employee Larry Hryb played the game on PC, and it was a bizarre experience.
The PC platform grants the players far more freedom and fewer restrictions compared to the console platforms. Hryb managed to play the game with a Microsoft controller, and it is the best of both worlds which could even be the correct way to play games moving forward.

One of the most surprising games of E3 2016, Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding, will not be on stage this year when Sony presents their wares. Read Kojima's tweet below and see if you can decipher it. Plus, find out when you can see the man, himself, live and in person at E3!
When we began on the long, winding road to E3 2017, one of the games we were most excited to get an update on was Hideo Kojima's first game since Konami, Death Stranding. Alas, we aren't so lucky this year as Kojima has tweeted out that his team has decided to forego E3 2017 in favor of spending that time developing. That didn't mean Kojima, himself, wouldn't still be in attendance, though.
Apologies to our fans, Death Stranding will not be @ E3 as we are fully focused on development. Pls see me with @geoffkeighley on 6/14! pic.twitter.com/w...

Four more Xbox 360 games have been added to the Xbox One’s existing library of backwards compatible titles today, bringing the grand total up to well over 300 games. The new arrivals, as confirmed by Microsoft’s Major Nelson, are Luxor 2, Madballs in Babo: Invasion, Poker Smash and Street Fighter IV. As usual, if you already own any of games making the jump, they should appear in your library, ready to be downloaded. Alternatively, you purchase all of them via the official store.

N7 Day is upon and that can mean but one thing: a celebration of all things Mass Effect. Developer BioWare has been teasing a reveal all morning and sure enough, the all-new and rather stylish cinematic trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda has checked in, showcasing vibrant new worlds, new characters and a new journey set within our galactic neighbour.
Forget Shepard; with Andromeda, BioWare is shifting the focus over to a new protagonist called Ryder – male or female, depending on your preference – also known as the Pathfinder. We also get a fleeting look at the alien menace set to wreak havoc across the galaxy, making for some truly eye-popping spectacle.
Elsewhere, Mass Effect: Andromeda has been confirmed as the cover star of Game Informer‘s new issue, meaning we can expect new details – voice cast, loyalty missions and more – to emerge sooner rather than later. Until then, here’s the...

Call of Duty: World at War is now available via the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility service, Microsoft’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb has announced via Twitter. Released back in 2008 for the last generation of consoles, World at War marks the last time either Infinity Ward or Treyarch dabbled in portraying the historic Second World War, having moved into fictional or more modern territory in the years since with the likes of Black Ops 3 and this year’s upcoming Infinite Warfare.

Mods were set to come to PS4 back in June for some Bethesda titles, but it seems Sony is throwing a roadblock in the way preventing it. Find out more after the jump.
According to the Bethesda blog all PS4 mods for Fallout 4 and Skyrim: Special Edition, have been put on indefinite hold as talks with Sony fell apart.
The blog notes:
"After months of discussion with Sony, we regret to say that while we have long been ready to offer mod support on PlayStation 4, Sony has informed us they will not approve user mods the way they should work: where users can do anything they want for either Fallout 4 or Skyrim: Special Edition.
Like you, we are disappointed by Sony's decision given the considerable time and effort we have put into this project, and the amount of time our fans have waited for mod support to arrive. We consider...

PlatinumGames’ breakout success Bayonetta is now available via the Xbox One’s backwards compatibility service, Microsoft’s own Larry Hryb has announced via Twitter.

Released back in 2009 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the critically acclaimed action game immediately brought the then relatively small Platinum to mainstream attention, its success ultimately leading to a sequel – Bayonetta 2 – being released in 2014 exclusively for Nintendo’s Wii U.
Joining Bayonetta in joining the ever-growing list of backwards compatible games are de Blob 2, Arkanoid Live, Qix++ and Of Orcs and Men, although that last one isn’t being made available in all regions, possibly for licencing reasons.
As is the case for all titles that join the service, if you already own any of them on Xbox 360, you...
