- Jeannette Lara is a writer who has written on shows such as Alma's Way, Rainbow High, Santiago of the Seas and other upcoming projects. She was a finalist for the ScreenCraft 2019 Animated Competition and made Quarter Finalist for the 2016 Nicholls Fellowship in Screenwriting with her first original animated script she co-wrote with her writing partner Michael. J Beall, called Muse.
Jeannette often credits her love for storytelling to comic books and years of childhood play-acting with her Barbie dolls and action figures. She was also influenced by her exposure to Japanese anime and Disney feature animation during her six years living in Japan.
