"That's a chance I'm willing to take." Available to watch on Tubi already is an action western rip-off spoof movie called Butch Cassidy & The Wild Bunch, from the Sharknado director Anthony C. Ferrante. One of The Asylum's latest offerings, this western combines the title of tow different classics - Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) and The Wild Bunch (1969). When Butch Cassidy and his colorful band of outlaws commit a series of high-profile heists, including a train robbery, a posse of newly-hired guns and seasoned killers working for the Pinkerton Detective Agency are tasked with taking down Cassidy and his rowdy gang. Starring Ross Jirgl, Jeffrey Combs, Bruce Dern, Jilon VanOver, Nikki Leigh, Dee Wallace, Geoff Meed, Alex Knight, and Megan Hensley. Yeah this looks as bad as you're expecting, maybe even worse, but that's exactly what The Asylum is going for every time. How trashy can they make it?...

Smarthouse Creative's new distribution arm has acquired "Chatty Catties," the debut feature from Pablo Valencia that won the Fipresci Prize at the 2015 Seattle International Film Festival. The dark comedy, produced by Cecilia Curran and co-written by Valencia and Dicky Bahto, features the voice talents of a cast of deaf and hearing-impaired actors led by John Autry II, a graduate of No Limits, the country’s only theater group for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth. Autry voices the sassy tabby Leonard, who is at odds with his human roommate Shelby (Megan Hensley), whose own emotional problems limit her abilities to provide for the most basic of Leonard’s needs. But when she begins a relationship with kind-hearted musician (Matthew Grathwol), Leonard sees a brighter future for both him and his owner, but it won’t come without a few emotional fireworks along the way. "I am positively through the roof to have found a distributor like Smarthouse.

Underground
Stars: Sofia Pernas, Adrian R Mante, Eric Abercrombie, Christine Evangelista, Jeff D’Agostino, Megan Hensley, Megan Hensley, Adam Meirick | Written by Charles Morris Jr. | Directed by Rafael Eisenman
Horror is about finding what scares us, or makes us feel uncomfortable and using that against us. It’s that fear of the dark, or the sudden attack out of nowhere, or that shadowy figure following us at night. One of the scenarios that seem to be popular is the fear of being trapped underground and attacked by creatures that are more adapted to that environment. We’ve had Creep, The Descent, Urban Explorers and now Underground, just to name a few.
When a group of friends get stuck underground after a fight at a party on an abandoned army base they find themselves being hunted by creatures in the darkness. As they fight for survival and to save their friends...

Director: Rafael Eisenman.
Writer: Charles Morris Jr.
Cast: Ross Thomas, Sophia Pernas, Adrian R’Mante, Hayley Knight, Christine Evangelista, Adam Meirick, Megan Hensley, Jack Donner, Chaz Allen, and Jeff D'Agostino.
When military science creates monstrosities that go berserk in the intro to Underground, one possible solution is to send in the Special Forces to mop up with a few mortar shells and a flamethrower. Obviously someone forgot to bring these big guns. The soldiers become yesterday’s news, leaving what happens next a tale of survival.
A few years later, the base is abandoned and it gets used as the location for a rave. Lonely soldier boy, Matt Wilcox (Ross Thomas), has finished his tour of duty—presumably without a scratch—and is meeting his pals there. He introduces his girlfriend, Mira (Sofia Pernas), to Eric (Jeff D'Agostino), Storm (Adrian R’Mante), Jenna (Christine Evangelista) and Evie (Hayley Knight).

Get ready to step into hell with the crazy new creature feature Underground, which looks reminiscent of The Descent. First announced back in March of 2010, the film is finally being sold at the Afm. Check out the old trailer above, with the new promo and art inside. Directed by Rafael Eisenman, Christine Evangelista, Jenna Hughes, Megan Hensley, Ross Thomas and Sofia Pernas all star. "In the film a group of friends fight for their lives against lethal and ravenous creatures lurking underground. The group will find themselves at the mercy of creatures genetically engineered by the military to be expendable in battle. They are stronger and faster than humans and can destroy their enemies with their bare hands and teeth. These creatures survived in the dark, eating whatever flesh wandered into their lair. Though they fought countless battles in Iraq, Matt and Storm never knew real fear until they went.
