Producer Independent Productions has delivered the six-part, second run, which is titled Fair Trade: The Road Back, to distributor Silver Mountain Distribution.
The first season was a hit on Vtm, Vrt and Telenet’s Belgian SVoD service Streamz, with Ireland-based Silver Mountain claiming it beat U.S. series such as Mare of Easttown and The Undoing to top spot in local streaming charts.
Deadline revealed news of the second season back in July 2021.
Prime Video, which had the first season in the Netherlands, has snapped up season two, and is planning to launch it in December. Streamz will debut it in Belgium in February 2023. Amazon’s Freevee service and Brazil’s Globoplay have also picked up season one for Germany and Austria

"We've got to pilot this ourselves?" Epic Pictures has released an official Us trailer for a submarine thriller called Torpedo U 235, which is an amalgamation of two other titles for this: Torpedo (the original Belgian title) and U235 (the sub's name). The film is about a small team of Belgian resistance fighters that kidnap a German submarine during WWII and accept a mission to bring uranium, needed for the Manhattan Project, from the Belgian Kongo to New York. Based on a true story, of course. This looks like it has some awesome action in addition to the wicked cool story of some Belgians wrangling a stolen German sub for a top secret mission. This stars Koen De Bouw, Thure Riefenstein, Ella-June Henrard, Joren Seldeslachts, Sven De Ridder, Stefan Perceval, and Bert Haelvoet. The dialogue is cheesy, but the rest seems solid. Here's the official trailer (+ posters) for Sven Huybrechts' Torpedo...

Brian De Palma, “sort of”, returns to cinematic screens with Domino after a seven-year hiatus after his Rachel McAdams and Noomi Rapace starring feature Passion, released in 2012. I say “sort of” because De Palma’s latest hasn’t had the most conventional release. Originally shot in 2017, Domino has had a tirade of troubles during post-production and has ultimately distanced himself from the final product. Leading to a very limited cinema release and landed without a thud on most On Demand services.
It’s a strange consequence from De Palma to cut ties with his feature because after viewing said film there isn’t much difference in the crafting of Domino from what the...

Early on in Belgian writer-director Bavo Defurne's North Sea Texas, we watch as Yvette (Eva Van der Gucht) walks in on her effeminate young son -- Pim (Ben Van den Heuvel) -- as he fantasizes about being a beauty pageant contestant while wearing a tiara. Perhaps due to her nonchalant approach to parenting, Yvette barely bats an eye at the sight of her son dressed up as a girl; and though Pim never really officially "comes out," we can sense an overall indifference towards sexuality in this quaint Flemish town on the coast of the North Sea. North Sea Texas has nothing to do with "coming out" or navigating one's own sexuality; this is a story about a 16-year-old Pim's (Jelle Florizoone) first love, albeit a clandestine affair with a slightly older boy, Gino (Mathias Vergels). Their relationship is only kept secret because that is what the Gino requests; otherwise,...
