Michael Grandison

Michael Grandison was born in 1989 in Kingston, Jamaica. He started
dancing at the age 3 years, growing up around Hip Hop/Street Dance
culture in the UK he became an aspired dancer. Trained in contemporary
at Harris Academy at Peckham, he undergo training in the Hip hop/Street
dance from Stefan Sinclair from Michael Jackson- This Is It and
workshop with Kimberley Wytt from Pussycat Dolls at Pineapple Studio.
Michael began developing his Acting experience in BTEC First and
National in performing Arts, A Level Drama, Lamda Examination at
Distinction level. The prolific performer, undergo Drama Performance
and Theatre Skills course at Roehampton University. As an outgoing
individual, he has manage to collaborate and connect with other
professions. Michael created his own dance company in 2009 call Get
Down Dance, running workshops with young people around Southwark and
Lambeth Community. His company has performed at show such as 'Keep It
Moving' and 'Breaking Convention'. He made appearance at the Old Vic
Tunnel, the Old Vic Theatre: New Voice new musical production called
Epidemic. Also, well known street dance show 'Serious About Street
Dance 2012' in the 02 Indigo; Hosted by Kimberley Jay from Nike. He
also appeared at Breaking Convention at Sadlers Well for dance crew
(Cube) by Bismark Anobah from Unity dance.
