According to President Donald Trump, Matt Pottinger doesn’t exist. Which might come as news to Matt Pottinger.
In a morning tweet that was quickly debunked by reporters – and even a former colleague of Pottinger – Trump wrote today, “The Failing @nytimes quotes ‘a senior White House official,’ who doesn’t exist, as saying ‘even if the meeting were reinstated, holding it on June 12 would be impossible, given the lack of time and the amount of planning needed.’ Wrong Again! Use real people, not phony sources.”
Trump was referring to a Page 1 story in today’s New York Times about the possibility of a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. Wrote the Times: “Twenty-four hours after announcing that he was calling off the meeting in a letter to Mr. Kim, the North’s leader, Mr. Trump told reporters that he and Mr. Kim might yet meet in Singapore on June...

Fergie’s rendition of the national anthem at the start of Sunday’s NBA All-Star game left some viewers scratching their heads — and rushing to Twitter to share their opinions.
Taking the court at Los Angeles’ Staples Center in a tight, black dress, the 42-year-old “A Little Work” singer performed a sultry rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” reworking the tune to more of a jazzy beat.
At points, the star appeared to struggle to hit notes, though she closed out the tune with some impressive vibrato, telling the arena, “Let’s play some basketball!”

Donald Trump is facing blowback after The Washington Post reported that the president gave “marching orders” to White House and Pentagon officials to put on a massive military parade in Washington, D.C.
Trump has spoken publicly and privately in the past about having a parade to showcase the might of the military, most notably after attending the annual Bastille Day military parade in Paris last July with French President Emmanuel Macron. According to the Post, aides said at the time that Trump was “dazzled” by the parade of uniformed French troops, military tanks, armored vehicles and fighter jets and...

Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump have a longstanding friendship despite their parents’ bitter political rivalry in the 2016 presidential election. But a new tweet sent by the former first daughter about the current first daughter have many calling “shade.”
It all started with The New York Times, which on Monday published a report about a 2015 email exchange between President Donald Trump‘s business associate Felix Sater and lawyer Michael Cohen that claimed Sater had made arrangements for Ivanka’s 2006 trip to Russia.
The trip, Sater alleges in his email, included a private stop at Vladimir Putin’s private office where he...

It’s going to be impossible to gauge exactly how many people showed up for the hundreds of women’s marches that were held across the world on Saturday. But aerials views shared to social media help grasp just how expansive the protest efforts were.
What began as a simple Facebook invitation to protest the election of president Donald Trump turned into a global movement on Saturday, as millions of women (and men) across the world took to the streets in solidarity.
Their signature event was the Women’s March on Washington, D.C., where than 500,000 people were expected to participate.
