Since 2001, André Rangel has been working as a film editor in the Brazilian feature film industry, as well as in advertisement, TV series, and several institutional films for partners such as the Pro-Natura Institute, Vale do Rio Doce Foundation, Roberto Marinho Foundation, Petrobras, Correios, Natura, and renowned production companies like LC Barreto and Mac Comunicação, as well as broadcasters like TV Globo and Canal Brasil.
In 2005, André met Marcos Negrão and quickly joined Enigma Filmes. Together, they conceived the company's mission and directed the documentary films "Vultures Have Wings" and "The Broken Moon."
Following the same mission and deeply preparing the films' concepts together, Marcos acts as the director during the production/shooting phase, and André takes over the main role during the post-production process. This collaboration achieves a perfect match and balanced direction in their recent projects.
