Conservative firebrand Candace Owens has left the news outlet The Daily Wire after a war of words with the founder of the news brand, fellow far-right figure Ben Shapiro, which began shortly after the outset of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
Owens joined the partisan conservative news website, which gained traction during former President Donald Trump’s time in the White House, in 2020 and hosted a weekday commentary show for the brand, known for repackaging other news outlets’ reporting with a right-wing spin. The 34-year-old confirmed the news on Friday on X, the platform where most of the drama between the two conservative media figures played out.
“The rumors are true — I am finally free. If you would like to support my work, you can head to http://CandaceOwens.com where you will be directed to my locals page,” Owens tweeted, then solicited for funds on another personal website.

Conservative media outlet The Daily Wire, known for its right-wing political commentary, had a public dispute between two of its most prominent figures, Ben Shapiro and Candace Owens.
Shapiro, the site’s co-founder, and Owens, a host of one of its podcasts, have exchanged back-and-forth messages on the X platform, formally known as Twitter.
It started when Owens wrote of the Israel-Hamas War: “No government anywhere has a right to commit a genocide, ever. There is no justification for a genocide. I can’t believe this even needs to be said or is even considered the least bit controversial to state.”
Over the past couple of weeks, the Israeli government has been bombing the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians, many of whom are children after Hamas’ terrorist attack on Israel killed 1200.
Although many praised her stance, others criticized her tweet and accused her of being antisemitic.

On Wednesday’s installment of Carlson’s self-produced X show, host injected his views on white genocide into a discussion of the ongoing Israel-Hamas war while interviewing The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens.
Early in the interview, Carlson and Owens had discussed her explosive, public spat with Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro over the war in Gaza, before discussing how it is also fueling tensions on college campuses.

Great American Family CEO Bill Abbott is speaking out about Candace Cameron Bure's controversial "traditional marriage" comments.
In a new interview with Variety, Abbott revealed that he doesn't think the Full House alum is a spokesperson for the network.
"We're proud to have her here, and she works so well with the team alongside me, and we have a really talented and dedicated team that's committed to high-quality faith and family content," Abbott said.
"In terms of her personal views, it's like the disclaimer you see at the end of a movie or a series that says, 'The views reflected here are not necessarily those of the company.'"
"Candace has such a high profile that when she speaks, she'll speak on a lot of topics, and she has a wonderful podcast that is fantastic," he added.
"But when she speaks on that, she's not speaking on behalf of Great American Media.

A new iteration of the Full House series was a brewing possibility when actor Bob Saget suddenly died in 2022. Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner, said despite the loss, the cast could reunite someday in some capacity.
“I don’t know that we’re done with the Full / Fuller legacy,” Sweetin said on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.
“But I do think it’s going to have to be some time from now after Bob,” she said. “I think that would be a big loss. I think, obviously it’s something that would, could be dealt with at some point.”
“But I do think that definitely is a big hole in all of our hearts right now, so we’ll see,” she added. “We always joke that we’re up for a Golden Girls-type version of Kimmy and Steph and DJ living somewhere in Miami wearing Mumus on the Lanai.

Would you agree if I said that cinema, as a medium, is the strongest one that an artist can use for their expression? Because how else would you make sense out of the existence of something like director Jack James’ Wild Bones? I hope you are here after experiencing this fever dream of a movie. You should understand what I am talking about. There can be two ways Wild Bones can be described. One of those is that the movie is a manifestation of someone’s personal trauma. That someone could be the director himself, or maybe someone close to him. The other would be the director drawing inspiration from the worlds of auteurs like David Lynch or Peter Strickland and presenting a grim tale of his own in an intentionally erratic, non-linear manner.
As you would expect from movies of this kind, the narrative takes a backseat here. There...

Candace Cameron Bure has an iffy track record when it comes to the LGBTQ+ community. In the past, she’s been extensively criticized and accused by her peers of excluding queer people, while some have even gone so far as to publicly call her a “bigot.” Given all that, many assumed Bure was the person in question when actress and Fuller House guest star Miss Benny said on TikTok that “one of the Tanner sisters” advocated for the removal of the show’s first openly queer character (played by Miss...

Candace Cameron Bure is pushing back against an accusation that she asked for a queer character to be removed from “Fuller House,” the “Full House” sequel series that aired for five seasons and 75 episodes on Netflix between 2016 and 2020. Miss Benny, the current star of Netflix’s “Glamorous,” appeared in two episodes of “Fuller House” Season 4 as Casey, the franchise’s first openly queer character. Miss Benny recently posted a TikTok that heavily implied Bure was homophobic behind the scenes of “Fuller House.”
One of Miss Benny’s followers asked the star on TikTok, “Fuller house? Who was homophobic was it Candace?” Miss Benny responded in a TikTok that included #candacecure in the video description but did not verbally call her out by name. The actor said “one of the Tanner sisters” was “very publicly not for the girls,” which for many viewers meant either Bure (who played D.J. Tanner-Fuller...

When you talk to Candace Bushnell, you don’t really see Carrie Bradshaw.
Instead, you see more of a Samantha Jones, a fabulous blonde woman wearing sunglasses inside her Sag Harbor home in the Hamptons. She’s put together, and eager to get down to business — she says she’s working on being her own Mr. Big rather than searching for him.
In the mid-1990s, Bushnell wrote a column for the New York Observer titled Sex and the City. There, she examined Manhattan life through the sex lives and relationships of her and her friends. As the column progressed, she began writing about herself under the pen name “Carrie Bradshaw.”
Later in that decade, Darren Star created the HBO series “Sex and the City” based on Bushnell’s column. It ran for six seasons, from 1998-2004, and then launched two films and the subsequent where-are-they-now spin off series, “And Just Like That,...

The serial killer thriller You has been a huge hit for Netflix. Fans have been captured by its twists and turns, as well as its portrayal of a killer’s twisted mind. Well, more than one killer, actually. One of the most captivating You storylines was Joe (played by Penn Badgley) developing a relationship with Love. Their connection started out a little dark, then got progressively way, way darker. But there was one moment that Badgley said was especially hard for him to take.
‘You’ Season 2 follows Joe as he met Love (L-r): Victoria Pedretti and Penn Badgley in ‘You’ | Beth Dubber/Netflix
When Joe met Love in You Season 2, his goal was to leave his murderous ways behind and become a “nice guy.” If that was ever going to happen, Love was the last person he should have gotten entangled with.

In a recent interview with the “Unapologetic With Julia Jeffress Sadler” podcast, Bure shared, “Cancel culture is real, and it’s difficult, and it’s hard.”
Bure went on to argue that Christians face persecution for their faith in different countries across the world, and how there’s been a “cushion” in North America against the kind of persecution seen in other nations.

Chris O’Donnell has signed with Gersh for representation.
The Hollywood film and TV actor currently stars as G. Callen in the CBS police procedural NCIS: Los Angeles, now in its 14th and final season.
Last year, O’Donnell and NCIS: LA cast member LL Cool J teamed to executive produce the reality dance competition series Come Dance With Me at CBS. The show features talented young dancers from across the country who invite one inspirational, and untrained, family member or other adult who has supported their dance dreams, to become their dance partner for a chance to strut their stuff for a grand prize.
In 2015, O’Donnell earned a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame for his entertainment career. His TV credits include The Company and Grey’s Anatomy, and O’Donnell made his Broadway stage debut in Arthur Miller’s play The Man Who Had All the Luck, opposite Samantha Mathis.

Netflix’s “You” is going the “Stranger Things” and “Ozark” route for Season 4, splitting the season in two batches of five episodes each. But the question is, is “You” Season 4 Part 1 compelling enough to require the split or even the wait for its conclusion? Perhaps prior to this season, the answer to that question would be a no-brainer, as the deliciously bingeable series traditionally has the audience in the palm of its hand, salivating for more of Joe’s misguided-yet-still-criminal behavior and the fate of whatever poor woman (or women) would end up being the object of his even more misguided affection.
Like the seasons before it, this season of “You” places everyone’s favorite murderous stalker Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) in a new setting. This time, he’s grown out his hair and has a beard for his new life abroad, in London, England. Joe’s got a new name,...

Is that the direction you chose? Because it was about time.
A billionaire played some antics and forced the team to take on a case on The Rookie: Feds Season 1 Episode 14. Simone and Brendon were given some choices with their probationary period nearing its end.
Garza's ex-wife visited and dredged up some old feelings in multiple people, while Cutty visited Simone at work and didn't burst into flames after entering the building.
Simone was confronted with a moral decision that saw her sacrifice the possibility of advancing her career quickly or speak the truth.
The FBI was confronted with its legacy and the steps it had made to better its public image.
So far, the show has stuck on one path: developing its characters and serving action. It would have been dumb of them to ignore the real issues law enforcement has to navigate while attempting to keep the citizens safe.
