Lorne was born in Toronto Canada. Lorne possesses an MBA from Oxford
University, an LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Master's degree in
China Area Studies from the University of London, School of Oriental
and African Studies, is a member of the Bar of Ontario, has a BA from
the University of Toronto and was a Visiting Undergraduate at Harvard
University.
As the founder of Fifth Season Media, Lorne has created award-winning television projects as well as film projects and is additionally the founder of Showflicks.com, a cutting edge VOD platform that is dominant in its genre sector.
Lorne has given lectures at York University's Schulich School of Business, International MBA program, the University of Toronto and Seneca College on topics which include the relationship of the arts and business as well as the application of Chinese strategic philosophy to western business practice.
In addition to his work in production, Lorne has appeared on screen in various roles, including hosting the award-winning program that he created, Word on the Street, which aired nationally in 2010.
