Chicago – Three short films, all produced and shot in Chicago, made their debut on Thursday, January 24th, at the Muvico 18 in Rosemont, Ill. The “Short in Chicago Film Fiesta” featured “Fate Accompli,” “Dear Dad” and “Crtl + Life + Delete,” and the production teams and actors in the films were in attendance, as well as a large audience.
The event was presented by Chicago Talkies Limited, and featured a red carpet in the lobby outside the theater. The evening was hosted by Raza Siddiqui of Chicago Talkies Limited, who is also the director of “Ctrl + Life + Delete.” The films that premiered were “Fate Accompli,” directed by Eric Neal, which is a noir mystery based on a hit man’s hidden past. “Dear Dad,” directed by Abad Leyva, explores the relationship between a father and his daughter. The provocatively titled “Ctrl + Life + Delete” involves the life decisions that don’t always go the expected way.
