Karl Dixon is a filmmaker from Coventry, West Midlands, England. He has over 15 years experience and a track record of creating captivating video content for arts organisations throughout the UK. He combines a passionate love of live arts with an enthusiasm for emotive and inspiring communications and well-developed technical filmmaking prowess.
Karl attended Blue Coat Church of England School in Coventry from 1999 to 2006. Karl then attended the University of Bristol from 2006 to 2009, where he got a 1st Bachelor's Degree for Drama in Theatre, Film and Television Studies.
Karl's background is in theatre; he worked as an in-house filmmaker with the Royal Shakespeare Company for several years before freelancing for theatres and video production companies across the country. He tries to bring a resourceful, inventive and playful sense of theatricality and design to everything he creates.
In 2019 he established the video production company No Class with his wife Rachael. For over 4 years now they have specialised in creating video content for arts organisations, are very proud of their growing team, and their impressive skills. Their work includes long-form broadcast projects, online live streams, international festival screenings and several hundreds of short-form online films.
