Really all you can ask for from a geeky fandom video is high production values and a cheeky sense of humor. And this Sneaky Zebra short film has both in spades. The premise is that three friends are locked in a battle to the death using iconic props from movies. That includes everything from Thor’s hammer and Captain America’s shield to Harry Potter’s wand, The Mask, and Men In Black’s “noisy cricket.”
The eight-minute “Prop Wars: Prop Harder” is a continuation of the original “Prop Wars” video from 2013, in which Nick Acott, Gary Scullion, and Edward Mackintosh battled it out in a shorter prop fight. Teaming up with nerd-merchandise provider Loot Crate allowed the sequel to be much more elaborate than the original.
Creators.co spoke to Scullion about the process of making the sequel. It was filmed across eight months, including some elaborate reshoots ...

As much as I love Slave Leia cosplay, it’s always refreshing to see something different with the character. Thanks to cosplayer Stacey Rebecca, we have an awesome Princess Leia cosplay based on the latest comic book version of the character. I’m a big fan of that comic book design, so it’s extremely cool to see it brought to life like this. The photos you see here were taken by voxophone, and I believe this is the first time I’ve seen this version of Leia cosplayed.

YouTuber sneakyzebra has created and released a second cosplay music video for San Diego Comic-Con called "I Want to be a Superhero." They said they had so much footage from the convention that they couldn't fit it into one video, so they made this second one especially for YouTube's themed Geek Week. Chris Hardwick even makes a cameo appearance! Check it out, and to watch the first one, click here. Even though I don't personally participate in the world of cosplay, I do love it! A lot of these people are pretty damn talented. Thanks to Nick Acott for sending us the video!

After a full week of non-stop geek fun, YouTube's Geek Week ends with its final Fan Friday. There are plenty of nerdy fans in cyberspace, as Geek Week has proven, but there’s one particular fan subculture that stands out from the crowd. The Cosplayer. For those not emerged in nerdom, the term cosplay is short for “costume play” and is exactly what it sounds like. Participants wear costumes and accessories to represent or roleplay a fictional character. Cosplay photography has been around since convention attendees began dressing up as their favorite characters, but it’s only recently that cosplay videos have been popping up all over the internet. This week alone we have seen cosplayers in Machinima’s epic YouTube at War! and Screen Team’s charming Who We Want To Be music videos. But in the search for videos that summarizes the best of cosplay culture look no further than Sneaky Zebra.

Here is a must watch Cosplay Music Video from Nick Acott at SneakyZebra. One of my favorite parts about Comic-Con, aside from the movies, are the cosplayers. This video was shot at Eurogamer, and has some of the coolest production. I especially love the way the camera swoops in on the cosplayers.
Here's the video description on YouTube:
Eurogamer Expo was a chance for us to play some new upcoming games - like Halo 4, Dishonored, Aliens Colonial Marines, Tomb Raider, FarCry, Hitman and many more.
It was also the chance to catch up with some awesome cosplayers so we took the opportunity to make this little video - Hope you lot enjoy :D
Check out the video and share your thoughts:
