Born Whitney Channing Sargent in Salt Lake City, Utah, Channing is a stage and screen actor, writer, and producer. With theatre credits that span New York City and Los Angeles stages, she's performed at the Upright Citizen's Brigade, and is a member of Theatre of NOTE in Hollywood.
For her role in Steve Yockey's Disassembly, Channing was nominated for Best Female Comedy Performance, Stage Raw Awards. Also a writer, her film No Better No Worse, which she wrote, produced, and co-directed, received the audience favorite award at the Windy City Film Festival in Chicago, the best narrative short silver award and best women's short at the Independent Shorts Awards.
She studied acting at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and the Moscow Art Theatre, and received a master's degree in creative writing at USC.
