Danforth Prince
Danforth Prince, one of the "Young Turks" of the post-millennium
publishing industry, is president and founder of Blood Moon
Productions, Ltd., a firm devoted to the research, compilation, and
marketing of "tell-all" celebrity biographies, most of whose subjects
were associated with the Golden Years of Hollywood. In 2012, he was
named "Publisher of the Year" in awards ceremonies coordinated by the
J.M. Northern Media Group, and in 2013, he conceived, edited, packaged,
and marketed a biography of Linda Lovelace that was designated as "Best
Summer Reading of 2013" at the widely respected "Beach Book Awards."
Between 1982 and 2012, in collaboration with Darwin Porter, he was instrumental in the research,compilation, and writing of many editions of The Frommer Guides, then the best-known and most widely read travel guide series in the world, sharing direct responsibility for the texts, content, and annual or bi-annual updates of at least 50 titles (mostly Europe, The Caribbean, and parts of the U.S..
