Secrecy around movie sets and plotlines is hardly a new thing, but John Boyega has taken things to another level.
When the actor's family tried to get Star Wars spoilers out of him and failed, his dad had a novel response.
Dad "everyone leave their plates in the sink for John to wash since he won't tell us anything about force awakens"
— John Boyega (@JohnBoyega) April 29, 2015
The price I pay for secrecy.....Thanks Dad.... Love you :/ pic.twitter.com/mA9a0HFfUs
— John Boyega (@JohnBoyega) April 29, 2015
Yes, John Boyega would rather do the washing up than give away anything about one of the most-eagerly anticipated blockbusters of the year. The force is strong with this one.
Naturally, his followers had a variety of on-point responses:
@JohnBoyega These are not the dishes you are looking for.

Artist Liam Brazier spent some of his valuable time creating a couple of pieces of art paying homage to two of James Cameron's greatest achievements… Aliens and The Terminator. One thing Cameron was so good at with his films and stories is making the main antagonist a female badass. The illustrations will be a part of the "Imagined Worlds" art show being hosted by the Hero Complex Gallery. I'm sure we'll start seeing more art from that art show in the near future.

Mark Ruffalo has said that he wants to play Columbo.
The Avengers actor became engaged in a conversation on Twitter about how he would like to bring Peter Falk's television detective to the big screen.
@garywhitta That's an idea. Ed Solomon pitched the movie idea to me about a month ago. Does universal have an appetite for it is the ?.
— Mark Ruffalo (@MarkRuffalo) July 16, 2014
The topic caught the attention of fans, who began mocking up posters of the actor as Columbo.

Falk portrayed the detective on TV from 1971-2003.
He was famously told prior to his big break that he would never get work due to his glass eye.
Falk died in 2011 at the age of 83.
Ruffalo can currently be seen opposite Keira Knightley in Begin Again. He will feature in...

What up peeps? Join us this week as we discuss the ongoing civil war within the games industry (pretty deep right?), as well as why a game named Warface can’t seem to avoid sexist landmines. We also touch on GTA V, Battlefield 4 Beta, Wolf Among Us, more Mice and Mystics, Saints Row IV, and some reaper minis talk. In our Colartibles we spotlight some wonderful superhero fractal art by Liam Brazier, and some nice Skyrim crochet work by Melibusla. Last but not least, Stephanie Brown is back! Enjoy the show!
P.S. The break and end music was created by Ryan Ike for the Gunpoint Soundtrack.

Check out this radical collection of illustrations for a show at the Gauntlet Gallery focusing on art inspired by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk.
The show is called "ReDiscovery", and it was put on to "celebrate the release of Daft Punk’s first album in eight years, Gauntlet Gallery will feature works by over 40 painters, sculptors, digital and screen print artists, each of whom has created an original work of art inspired by Daft Punk."
I've included a bunch pieces from the show below. A lot of them are extremely cool. Check 'em out!
Here's a not from the artist, Paul Shipper on the piece above:
I approached my piece as a promotional poster for the first single that was to be released from 'Random Access Memories' - 'Get Lucky' featuring Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers. I instantly loved this track and had it practically on repeat during...

There’s an easy cool to Josh Homme and the music he writes with his band Queens of the Stone Age. Like Marlon Brando in The Wild One when asked “what are you rebelling against” - “Whadda you got?” – the music of Qotsa just drips with sweat, gasoline, attitude, and … well… coolness. Their new album …Like Clockwork will be released on June 4, but don’t let the title fool you. Apparently the new album didn’t go as planned and wasn’t such an easy journey. Then again, I don’t think Brando knew what he was getting himself into when he stopped into that small town bar in The Wild One. For what it’s worth, the new album is now completed and features a number of guest stars including Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner, Dave Grohl, Elton John, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor, and Jake Shears of Scissor Sisters.

We've got some very cool artwork for you to take a look at this week from across the world wide web. First up are these inspired vector designs by artist Liam Brazier. The Superman above is just one of the great pieces on his site that includes Batman, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and some other awesome chars from the Holy Trilogy. If you have a sharp eye you might catch another Star Wars nod in the kick ass Clerks poster by Tim Doyle that was given out at the Blue Starlite Drive-In in Austin last night. Anyone lucky enough to snag one of these bad boys? Finally we have a couple of great pieces that went on sale at Mondo yesterday. The first is...
