Netflix is remaining in the Duchess of Sussex business!
And business is -- well, booming might be a strong word, but clearly, both sides believe they've got a good thing going.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry first signed a deal with Netflix back in 2020, but since then, the couple's media market value has declined a bit.
Their first two projects with the streaming giant met with mixed results, but according to a new announcement, two more series from the couple's Archewell production studio are currently in development.
News of the new shows was first reported by Deadline.
One of the projects is a food-focused lifestyle series that will "celebrate the joys of cooking and gardening, entertaining and friendship."
The show will be directed by Michael Steed, who's best known for his work on Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown.
The showrunner will be Leah Hariton, who was previously a producer on Selena Gomez...

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s work at Netflix is far from over. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are developing not one but two new shows for the streamer, according to Deadline. The couple currently has two non-fiction shows in the works. The first series will center on Markle celebrating the “joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship.” Selena + Chef executive producer Leah Hariton will serve as the showrunner with Michael Steed directing. The second series will focus on the world of professional polo. The show was shot primarily at the U.S. Open Polo Championship in Wellington, Florida, at The Uspa National Polo Center. Prince Harry’s latest series will “pull the curtain back on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and all it takes to compete at the highest level.” Prince Harry has been an avid polo player for years, so this is right up his alley.

While “My Next Guest With David Letterman” executive producers had previously pulled off intimate sit-downs with culture-makers like Barack Obama, Malala Yousafzai and Cardi B, producing an in-depth conversation in a Ukrainian war zone was certainly not in their repertoire before pursuing an interview with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The idea to interview Zelenskyy started with producer Tommy Alter, and scored Letterman’s immediate enthusiasm as the host told EP Tom Keaney, “this is the only thing I want to do.”
“I think Dave’s immediate reaction was probably generated by the fact that this is a world event that’s happening in real time,” EP and Imagine president Justin Wilkes told TheWrap, adding that it was “still fairly early days in the war.” “He’s one of the most interesting people on the planet right now, and wouldn’t it be interesting to go talk to him and see...
