- Worked as a carpenter, puppeteer, living statue, art dealer, mobile marketing manager and waiter. Got into mobile marketing after being hired to "live" in a glass apartment (for three months) on the back of a truck as it traveled across the United States promoting an anti flu medication.
- Last name is pronounced "Hue-Bird" (Hubard). Often confused with the last name of the character in the book, The Comic Adventures of Old Mother Hubbard. (published in 1805).
- Graduated from The University of The North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston/Salem N.C. Where he frequently visited Hanes Mall.
- Did a commercial at Paramount's Kings Dominion for the Anaconda roller coaster. He road it 42 times in 2 days. And has not ridden it since.
