John Blair II is an accomplished film composer, arranger, and performer with numerous credits in the music industry.
In addition to his credits as composer John has performed piano and trombone with: Al Grey, Bill Watrous, John Dankworth, Cleo Laine, Lionel Hampton's Trombone Factory and Empire Brass. John also performed and arranged music for feature films Should've Kissed (2010), Red Ice (2011), The Red Goodnight (2018), and Pastor Shepherd (2010)
One of the John Blair II produced events on Film Scoring Technology was featured by the award-winning music editor Todd Kasow (The Red Violin, True Grit, No Country for Old Men) and producer Teese Gohl (Spiderman on Broadway and Across the Universe).
His arrangement of Fee Fi Fo Fum, was selected for performance at numerous festivals.
John took on multi-level work as Orchestrator and Music Editor for the World Premiere of Raoul, an opera based on the life of Raoul Wallenberg with Gershon Kingsley at Theater Bremen, Neues Schauspielhaus in Bremen, Germany. John has film projects on tap as composer and music director for producers and filmmakers of all stripes who are eager to work with him.
