Ambushed outside a Santa Monica Whole Foods by TMZ, Tyra Banks announced that she’s leaving “Dancing with the Stars.” The host for the past three seasons appeared to break the news before a formal announcement could come from producer BBC Studios or Disney+. “I think it’s time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor… from the ballroom to the boardroom,” she said. The move comes after original judge Len Goodman, who’d been on the show since its beginning in 2005, announced his retirement from the series.
For this writer and “Dancing with the Stars” superfan, there’s only one answer to who should be the next host: Tom Bergeron. The host of the first 28 seasons was the heart, soul, and DNA of the sparkly series, and he deserves a chance to come back.
Change can be a good thing, and there’s no question Banks grew into the role.

Bristol Palin shared a photo on her Instagram on Wednesday where she appears to wear a compression bra with attached surgical drains from her most recent breast reconstruction surgery.
The 32-year-old mom said it was her ninth surgery to correct a “botched” reduction she had when she was 19.
She wrote: “I’ve had previous surgeries trying to correct the initial damage of muscle tissue and terrible scaring. The whole situation has honestly made me very self-conscious my entire adult life.”
She added that she hopes it was the last surgery she needs, sharing with fans that she’s trying her best to stay positive and remain thankful for all that she has.
Palin has a history of sharing her feelings on body image on social media.

It’s hard to believe that Teen Mom 2 alum Chelsea Houska is now the mom of a teenager!
Teen Mom 2 viewers followed Chelsea’s story from 2011 until she departed from the franchise in 2020.
Chelsea and her then-boyfriend Adam Lind had a turbulent relationship. Adam was rarely involved in Aubree’s life, and not much has changed present day.
However, Aubree has the love and support of her mom and stepdad, Cole DeBoer, who each paid tribute to her for her 13th birthday.
Chelsea took to Instagram on September 7 to share an updated photo of Aubree, which she captioned, “My music loving, sassy, funny, Harry Styles obsessed girl is a Teenager.”

Bristol Palin is keeping things real with her followers. The Dancing With the Stars alum and real estate agent took to Instagram on May 26 to share a video of herself showing off her sculpted stomach. However, it wasn't her fit bod that she wanted to share with her followers. In captions that appeared on the video, she wrote, "Let's get reeeeel [sic] for a sec. I post what I want ya'll to see. From decent angles, and not from insecurities and scars (visible or not.)" The mom of three then pulled down her shorts slightly to reveal a scar, writing, "Here's something I don't share. The scar from the tummy tuck I had years ago." Bristol, the daughter...

Claudia Conway faces challenges that evoke real and powerful sympathy, and not just because of her tender age. First, this 16-year-old emerged onto the national stage as someone seemingly desiring to make an impact but unable to escape her own famous name. Her parents, anti-Trump lawyer George Conway and Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway, had already shown the hazards of life in the so-called swamp, making gross public theater of the disputes within their marriage before Claudia began getting attention for her videos on TikTok. And yet the notice that comes her way is always in the context of her famous family, first for the simple fact of her publicly disagreeing with Mom, and later for darker and sadder amplifications. With Claudia having become the story, the teenager’s camera seemed to capture a family in crisis over more than just politics, with a series of videos accusing her mother of abuse circulating widely.

Does Bristol Palin have a new love in her life? That's the question fans are asking themselves after the former Teen Mom Og star took to Instagram and shared a photo with a new man. It all went down Sunday when Bristol posted a picture from Alaska as she enjoyed the clear blue waters. "Hometown," she captioned the pic with a checkmark emoji while posing alongside contractor Zach Towers. While Bristol isn't publicly confirming any new relationship just yet, the pair's matching camouflage outfits and smiles have some convinced this is a new summer romance. And when one fan asked, "How do you look so freaking cute in waders?" Bristol confessed that...

All good things must come to an end. Bristol Palin and Janson Moore have called it quits more than one month after confirming their relationship on Instagram. Bristol's simply wrote, "Noo." Janson is a real estate agent and the former Texas A&m University Aggies quarterback. Needless to say, lots of “Dancing with the Stars” fans are not happy with Sean Spicer‘s survival on the show, but not Cheryl Burke. The two-time champ, who weeks ago predicted Spicer to be in the final, finds him “endearing” to watch and believes viewers don’t know the real Sean Spicer.
“I actually really love Sean’s personality. Even in just the little time I spent with him, he’s really funny. He’s super down to Earth,” Burke wrote in her “Us Weekly” blog. “He’s not the Sean Spicer that I think everyone thinks he is. Listen, he is having the time of his life. You can tell he is holding back tears because of how much fun he’s having and it’s super sweet and endearing to watch. Who could have predicted that the year’s biggest voting controversy would come not from politics, but from Dancing With the Stars?
Well, perhaps it’s a little of both. Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer continues to survive the Season 28 eliminations, despite appearing at the bottom of the leaderboard and earning scathing reviews from the judges each week. (“Dory from Finding Nemo has a better sense of direction!” Bruno Tonioli remarked on the Nov. 4 episode, after Spicer’s so-so jazz routine.)

After the controversial Mirror Ball win for Bobby Bones last fall, “Dancing with the Stars” tweaked its voting system going into season 28. But maybe it’s time to overhaul the overhaul. In week six of the competition Sailor Brinkley-Cook got her highest scores of the season, and actually tied for the highest scores anyone has gotten this season so far. Then she was eliminated in ninth place. Watch her jive above. Then scroll down to let us know what you thought of that shocking outcome in our poll below.
Brinkley-Cook was a last-minute substitution on the show after her mom, Christie Brinkley, was injured a few days before the season began. In her clip package this week she admitted to feeling insecure as the daughter of the famous model, and her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy tried to get her out of her shell by having them practice their jive in public.

James Van Der Beek, Hannah Brown and Ally Brooke are the predicted top three in our “Dancing with the Stars” odds, but Cheryl Burke has a far more bold prediction for the final. And it’s none other than Sean Spicer.
“I wouldn’t be shocked if he made the final,” Burke shared in her “Us Weekly” blog. “Bristol Palin made the final … in a gorilla suit. She wasn’t the best dancer, but people wanted her there. So at the end of the day, you know, I wouldn’t be shocked.”
Oh, yes, Cheryl, we all remember the gorilla suits. **shudders**
Burke thinks the former White House press secretary has improved by his standards or at least has gotten better at remembering steps — “it’s all about memorizing,” she says — thanks to some savvy choreography by his partner Lindsay Arnold. Basketball player Lamar Odom got the lowest score from the judges in the season premiere of “Dancing with the Stars,” but he may not be the one eliminated tonight. According to the combined predictions of “DWTS” fans who have given us their forecasts here in our predictions center, Sean Spicer will be the first to get the boot. However, it also depends on tonight’s dances and how the voting process will be handled.
As of this writing Spicer gets leading odds of 17/10 of getting the axe, followed by Odom with 47/20 odds, “The Office” actress Kate Flannery with 6/1 odds and legendary singer Mary Wilson with 19/2 odds. Indeed, Spicer and Odom landed on the bottom of the judges’ leaderboard: Odom with 11 out of 30 and Spicer with 12 out of 30. But last week’s scores are going to be combined with tonight’s scores as well as tonight’s live audience votes to determine the elimination.

Sean Spicer flashed across the screen in a neon green puffy shirt for his debut on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars — at least he chose a blinding lime over Trump orange.
He danced a salsa with professional Lindsay Arnold to the Spice Girls “Spice Up Your Life,” and while he earned some respect for the judges for being game to doing the show, they scored near the bottom of all of the contestants, scoring 12 out of 30.
“I started off at minus ten,” Spicer said afterward, standing next to Arnold. “She has been a phenomenal coach.”
His segment started with him playing the bongos before he went in to the dance moves with Arnold, but it failed to impress the judges. They did give him credit for trying.
“I have to say it was strangely entertaining,” said judge Bruno Tonioli, who otherwise said that “there were some elements of salsa there.

Pros
Brown is no stranger to reality television. Before being known as one of the Fab Five in the Netflix reboot of “Queer Eye” he was a cast member on “The Real World,” “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Inferno II” and “The Next :15.” As a veteran of the genre, he should be savvy enough to avoid the potentially manipulative editing that often comes with reality television.

ABC’s announcement that its newest “Dancing With the Stars” cast will feature Sean Spicer, former press secretary for Donald Trump and frequent punchline, got immediate heat. The show’s tweet sharing the news was immediately flooded with derision and calls for reconsideration given the fact that Spicer gained his modicum of fame from defending some of the president’s most toxic policies and spreading pernicious lies in the process. The backlash got so immediately bad that even host Tom Bergeron felt compelled to say something, though his statement professing that he had nothing to do with the casting failed to mention Spicer by name and ended on a “why can’t we all just get along?” sentiment that missed the point of the protestations entirely.
That reaction, overwhelmingly negative though it may be, is exactly why “Dancing With the Stars” cast Spicer in the first place. Even if viewers...

"We are excited to say a little present is on the way. Baby Johnston #4 due in July!" Sunny wrote on Instagram. In the announcement, the smiling family wore matching red plaid pajamas while posing in front of a Christmas tree. They also held up a sign that read, "Baby Johnston #4 due in July." Levi and Sunny have been married since 2012 when they said "I Do" in Alaska in front of family and friends. They met through mutual friends two years earlier. And while Levi hasn't always had...

Season 27 of Dancing With the Stars came to a close last Monday with three very surprising words: “Bobby and Sharna!”
Indeed, against all odds (including middling scores from the judges), country radio DJ Bobby Bones and pro dancer Sharna Burgess were crowned the winners of this season’s Mirrorball trophy.
And though I mean no disrespect to Bobby or his very deserving partner, his victory underscored something about DWTS that has ruffled many feathers, including my own: All too often, the show rewards popularity over dance skill, and that needs to change.

The slaughtering of female contestants on “Dancing with the Stars” this season continued on Monday, but it wasn’t Mary Lou Retton or Alexis Ren — the remaining two women who were in the bottom five the first week — who went home like we had feared. Instead, it was Tinashe, one of the best dancers and top scorers this season, and her partner Brandon Armstrong who got the boot, giving us our first shocking elimination of the season. How did this happen? Besides, you know, Bachelor Nation. Let’s break it down.
1. Tinashe was getting, like, no votes
This seems obvious, but it must be said. Based on skill alone and her scores — she’s tied with the highest average of the season, 25.6 — Tinashe was a contender for the Mirrorball trophy. But fan votes are the other half of the “Dancing” equation, and she had to have been at or near...

"Dakota is an incredible father, there is No denying his love for our baby girls, I am extremely grateful for that," the 27-year-old mom wrote, before seemingly addressing the trolls. "You see .002 of our lives — especially since we Just Joined Tmog. Like Dakota has said multiple times on Ig and in interviews... our marriage was over Way Before Tmog." Credit: Instagram Monday's brand new episode focused on why the duo decided to call it quits, which Bristol further elaborated on Instagram. “Dancing with the Stars: Juniors” made its grand debut on Sunday night, October 7. The new series is spun off from the grown-up “Dancing with the Stars,” which has been on the air since 2005 and whose 27th season is currently underway. So how did “Juniors” compare to the mothership series, and how did these talented tykes compare to their adult counterparts? Find out below in our live blog with all the minute-by-minute developments as they happen.
Perhaps the biggest difference between the old show and the new is that “Juniors” has been taped in advance instead of airing live like the original series. That means fan votes won’t come into play for “Juniors” the way they do on the main series. So the kids had better be alright on the dance floor in order to impress the judges.

So cute! Catelynn Lowell is expecting baby No. 3 with her husband Tyler Baltierra, and surprisingly, it looks the couple just welcomed another new addition to their family. On Oct. 2, the Teen Mom Og star took to Snapchat with a video of herself playing with a new kitten! "Nova's gonna freak," Catelynn captioned the video. The 26-year-old MTV star was loving every second of bonding time with her new furry friend, sharing multiple clips of the tiny black kitty playing on the couch. Some fans are a little concerned how they'll handle taking care of their new pet amidst all the changes. One wrote: "Oh lord, dealing with a new baby and animal when you have a toddler and are pregnant is not easy. I keep thinking I want a kitten too, but I know better. So heartbreaking. Teen Mom Og fans got a crash course introduction to one of the shows newest stars Bristol Palin on this week's season premiere, and she definitely brought high drama with her. Fans immediately learned about Bristol's failing marriage with her husband, War in Afghanistan veteran Dakota Meyer — and Bristol revealed that Dakota's Ptsd from his service in the Marines is what eventually led to their divorce. Bristol and Dakota got into a nasty fight during the season premiere during a particularly rough bout of anxiety and they explained their sides of the story. "I know he’s got major anxiety right now and obviously, there’s lots pain between us," Bristol, 27, said. "I felt terrible about it, but it’s been two years of hurt, so my frustration is just, I understand that you have anxiety, but it doesn’t justify the things that are said between us if that makes sense.

All tea, all shade! MTV decided to replace former Teen Mom Og star Farrah Abraham with not one, but two new moms — and it wasn't long before they started feuding. Back in August, Farrah came for Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, claiming Bristol wanted to "be like" her. Bristol has made it clear that she is not trying to be like Farrah, and she doubled down on those comments during her appearance on Teen Mom: After the Show. "No. There’s nothing about me that wants to be anything like her. And I would never want my girls to look up to someone like that. So girlfriend," Bristol said, snapping her fingers in a z formation and laughing. "I’m just joking!" View this post on Instagram my story begins tonight...

In last night's premiere, Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd made their debuts as Teen Mom Og's newest stars, but it's not the first time either new cast member has been on TV before or dealt with their complicated relationships playing out in the public eye. Tyler didn't hold back while talking with his mom Kim and his stepdad Bill about Cate's struggles with anxiety and depression. The 26-year-old MTV star expressed his frustration with Cate, 26, skipping some of her classes while in an inpatient mental health treatment center. "I guess she just watches movies all night, but I just don't say anything..." he began, while explaining why he's grown emotionally tired of the situation. “You never seen her on the couch for days in a row in her robe,” Tyler told Bill. “Is that depressing for you…to see her on the couch in a robe all day?,” his mom asked and Tyler responded,...
