Max Kidd attended the "Actors in Motion"
acting school in Munich from 2003 to 2005. He has appeared in numerous
short films, on television (including "Rosenheimcops"/ZDF (starring
role in episode), "Zimmer mit Tante"/ARD (supporting role), "Der
Bergdoktor"/ZDF (starring role in episode), "Soko Suttgart"/ZDF
(starring role in episode), "Grossstadtrevier"/ZDF (starring role in
episode), "Entfuehrt - in fremder Gewalt"/RTL television pilot
(starring role), "IK1; Touristen in Gefahr"/RTL feature film (starring
role), and in film "Hangtime - Kein leichtes Spiel" (starring role). He
also appeared on the stage (as Malvolio in Shakespeares "Twelfth
Night", among other roles). Kidd has also written several short films,
including "First Case Murder" and "A dreamer's dream", which was filmed
in 2008 under the direction of Max Nuechtern with cinematographer
Michael Praun ("Nowhere in Africa") . In July 2009, Kidd was awarded
the "Foerderpreis Deutscher Film Schauspiel maennlich" (German film
sponsorship award for best actor) for his role in "Hangtime - Kein
leichtes Spiel" as a part of the Munich Film Festival.
