The first full-length trailer for Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three has just hit (via Toonado.com), and it teases what looks to be a high-stakes finale to this animated trilogy (and the Tomorrowverse as we know it).
With the Anti-Monitor on the loose, a whole host of heroes assemble to save the Multiverse, but it looks like that will be easier said than done when they also have Lex Luthor to contend with. Several other villains are also spotted, including The Joker, Scarecrow, and Two-Face.
In terms of cameos, the trailer ends with another Batman: The Animated Series tease. Batman Beyond also appears, but perhaps the biggest surprise comes when we return to the world of the Super Friends!

Justice League: Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Three Cover Art Reveals The Movie's Lead Characters
When the news broke during last year's San Diego Comic-Con that the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic book was being turned into a three-part animated movie, DC fans rejoiced.
The CW previously adapted the story for the Arrowverse, but this version had the opportunity to bring together countless animated characters from across the Dcau in an ambitious retelling of the story. Unfortunately, the opening two chapters have been mostly disappointing.
There's still a chance it will end on a high note, of course, and a first look at Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part Three's cover art has now found its way online (via Toonado.com).
Recreating the iconic shot of Superman holding the downed Supergirl, we also see Mister Terrific, Batman, Lex Luthor, Hawkgirl, Hourman, Wonder Woman, and The Joker. Looming in the background is the massive Anti-Monitor.
While a Watchmen movie is still expected to be released later this year,...

Crisis On Infinite Earths - Part Three Teaser Features Kevin Conroy's Batman And Mark Hamill's Joker
When we first learned that Warner Bros. Animation was developing a three-part Crisis on Infinite Earths movie, the response from fans was largely positive.
While the Tomorrowverse has been a little hit-or-miss, it's also delivered a lot of very good movies. Needless to say, the prospect of mixing DC characters from that world with so many other animated franchises was undeniably exciting.
Unfortunately, Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths - Part One and Part Two proved to be mostly underwhelming affairs, with the only noteworthy cameo being Terry McGinnis/Batman Beyond in the second instalment. As exciting as that may sound, he had no more than a couple of lines in the movie and failed to make much of an impact.
There may, however, be a chance the final instalment redeems itself.

DC’s Animated Universe has a reputation for excellence. Be it the shows or the movies, their carefully crafted stories have rarely let fans down. Some of the most popular projects include Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, The Death of Superman, Batman Beyond, and Justice League. The most recent saga of animated films from the franchise has been the Tomorrowverse, which just added another movie to its catalog.

Grant Gustin is arguably the most popular actor ever to helm the role of Barry Allen/ The Flash, who played the character in The CW series as part of the Arrowverse. The actor has built a dedicated fan base, and DC fans have been begging James Gunn to replace Ezra Miller with Grant Gustin as Barry Allen in his rebooted Dcu. For those wondering if he would ever return as The Flash, the actor has given one condition under which he would do so.
Grant Gustin as The Flash
Earlier, he said that he would return to reprise the role only if James Gunn asked him to do so. And at such a time, Gunn recently gave some hope to the fans as he shared his interest in working with Gustin. However, it’s not sure for which role Gunn wants him. It might not be Barry Allen.

Arguably the best Batman and Joker combo in history is getting back together one last time, and the reunion comes as a pretty sizable surprise. Mark Hamill will once again reprise his role as The Joker alongside the late Kevin Conroy's Batman. Conroy voiced the Caped Crusader for decades, from "Batman: The Animated Series" in the early '90s through Conroy's much-too-early death in 2022. We knew Conroy's voice would be used as Batman once again, and now it has been confirmed that Hamill will be reuniting with his former co-star in one of Conroy's final posthumous performances.
According to IGN, Hamill's Joker and Conroy's Batman are both set to appear in the upcoming "Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths -- Part Three." The first part of the adaptation of the classic DC Comics storyline has already been released, with part two arriving in April. It's a big multiverse story,...

So this is much more of a conventional superhero thing than I thought it was. Oh, it’s pretty good – Lemire is a strong writer, as always, and Ormston does that pseudo-horror look that is nearly a Dark Horse house style (or maybe just rules the Mignolaverse). But I was expecting something quirkier. (Note that Black Hammer is four years old. I had plenty of time to get more details; I just didn’t bother.)
It’s not clear if this was really a team. No name for the group is given in this first collection. But a half-dozen of the superheroes who used to defend Spiral City have been stuck on a farm somewhere in the middle of nowhere for ten years, after a battle with Darkseid “the Anti-God”. They saved the world, and ended up here. The creators don’t tell us how or why in this story...

Since the title was announced for Justice League Dark: Apokalips War, the biggest question in some fans’ minds was “hang on, who now?” Justice League Dark, the team of magical heroes that includes Constantine, Zatanna, Swamp Thing and a rotating cast of lesser-known mystics, has always had a very specific lane and focus: the supernatural. Not typically included in that mystical lane are Darkseid, Desaad, Apokalips, or the rest of the Fourth World heroes or villains. But the new trailer for the upcoming DC Animated feature sheds some new light on that puzzling “why:” because they’re all that’s left.

Strange Adventures has had the comics world hyped since its announcement. The new comic is from writer Tom King, with art from King’s long time collaborator Mitch Gerads and new art partner (and widely beloved superhero artist) Evan “Doc” Shaner, and the advance word on the book was more than enough to generate a ton of excitement. But does the first issue live up to the Eisner-bait hype?
The answer is a combination of “That’s not a fair question to ask,” and “oh my goodness yes.” Let’s start with yes.
In what is perhaps the least surprising statement of the year, the art is stupendous. Mitch Gerads and Doc Shaner each have their own strengths. Gerads excels at the mundane, making even a chat in a hotel room between a bored wife and a fried husband exciting. Shaner, by contrast, does the big, titanic superhero stuff perfectly.

DC's Strange Adventures will change how you see Adam Strange forever, courtesy of Tom King, Mitch Gerads, and Evan "Doc" Shaner.
Adam Strange is the quintessential 1950s pulp science hero. On Earth, he was an archaeologist with a boring life (at least relative to the Nazi hunting peaks that we know archaeology professors can hit thanks to the Indiana Jones franchise). He was hit by a mysterious beam of light while on a dig in Peru, and zapped to a faraway planet where he was immediately attacked by the fauna. After solving that problem, he met Sardath, lead scientist of Rann, the planet Strange found himself on. From there, he fell in love with Sardath’s daughter, Alanna, and adventured around the planet with his girlfriend, his jetpack, and his ray gun. But when the effects of the zeta beam that brought him to Rann wore off,...

While the show has been canceled, the showrunner has revealed what the plans for Krypton season 3 would have looked like.
This article contains major Krypton season 2 spoilers.
Syfy detonated Krypton far too early, canceling the fan favorite Superman prequel just two days after it aired the season two finale. That finale was far from definitive, however, and left the show with some massive cliffhangers that may not ever get resolved. The first involved Lobo teaming up with Seg-El, in the most unlikely cosmic buddy scenario you can think of in a show that has been positively packed with them. And while news of Krypton's cancellation also came with word that Syfy was also passing on the Lobo spinoff, Krypton showrunner Cam Welsh promised that show might not be dead after all. So maybe we'll see the further adventures of "Siegel" and Lobo on another network.
But what about those other two cliffhangers?...

It’s been around since 2013, but the Dceu has still only just scratched the surface of the potential to build a wide-ranging DC cinematic universe that really gets to grips with the scope of the comics. As we know, Warner Bros. has various movies at different stages of development right now and another one we’ve been told we can add to the list is a solo film for planet-hopping hero Adam Strange.
We Got This Covered has been informed by our source – who’s given us accurate DC scoops in the past like Black Mask being gay in Birds of Prey and Robert Pattinson playing Batman – that an Adam Strange movie is being worked on at WB. There aren’t any concrete details available about it as of yet as it’s only in the earliest stages of development, but we’ve heard that it’s on the cards.

Krypton Season 2 Episode 1
It is a whole new world on Krypton. As the second season of the Superman prequel series begins, the show has expanded its scope in a grand way, and right out of the gate sets up interesting character arcs, and a bevy of baddies.
The first season of Krypton, led by showrunner Cameron Welsh, did an admirable job of combining political intrigue with sci-fi and time-travel tropes set within the DC Universe, but with characters most people don’t know – in the past on a planet everyone knows is doomed. Somehow, against all odds, it worked. The inaugural outing also assembled an ensemble of actors, led by Cameron Cuffe as Superman’s grandfather Seg-El, a reluctant smart-ass hero who isn’t...

Blake Ritson gets even deeper into Brainiac's head for Krypton season 2.
Blake Ritson has a lot on his brain, as might be expected when one is playing a godlike hyper-intelligent alien android under five hours’ worth of makeup, and prosthetics. But while the actor is immersed in thought about his portrayal of classic Superman villain Brainiac, he is in exceedingly good spirits about the character’s arc during Krypton season 2. But perhaps the other characters on the show facing off against Brainiac be a little less at ease.
“If you do the intellectual tango with Brainiac, you can expect to get your feet trampled on,” Ritson says.
To be fair, Brainiac trampled some feet in the first season as well when he showed up in Krypton’s past to bottle the city Kandor. Time travel shenanigans occurred, and misfit hero – with a dubious grasp of history --...
Expansive as the DC TV landscape has gotten, I must say that I greatly appreciate most of what it has to offer. Whether it be the superheroics of The Flash and Arrow, the brutality of Titans, or the rom-com-zom-dram that is iZombie, I’ve been satisfied on a variety of levels. Sure, the argument can be made for oversaturation, but I’m willing to look the other way if something can grab my attention and keep it.
When it comes to Krypton, it immediately had my attention because it’s rooted in Superman mythology. The problem was that it didn’t retain my interest because, more often than not, the first season was downright boring whenever characters such as Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) and Brainiac (Blake Ritson) weren’t on screen. Zod almighty, did I ever want to tune out whenever the political element...

Lobo is coming to Krypton season 2 to frag some bastiches. Here's everything you need to know about The Main Man.
Krypton season 2 introduces...I was going to say “most unexpected,” but Adam Strange is already here so I guess Lobo is more like one of the most unexpected characters on the show. Lobo! The Main Man! The Last Czarnian! An unkillable force of the universe with no morals and a hunger for big bounties! But there’s a big question with his inclusion in an otherwise serious show:
Are they really doing this?
Lobo is a bit of a gag character. He’s an unstoppable intergalactic bounty hunter, originally introduced by Roger Silfer, Keith Giffen, and Mike DeCarlo in the pages of Omega Men #3 back in 1983. His original background was massively different from what it would eventually become, but the hyper-competent, amoral bounty hunter element was there from the start.

The second season of Krypton returns June 12 at 10/9c on Syfy.
Before the new season hits in a month, check out these featurettes about General Zod, Brainiac, Doomsday, but the best addition of “baddies” is without a doubt Lobo aka “The Last Czarnian,” “Ultimate Bastich,” “Master Frag,” “Machete Man,” and “Archbishop Of The Celestial Church Of The Triple Fish Cod!”
Check out this teaser now.
The first season is streaming on DC Universe – a must for any DC Comics fan. (Hand raised).
“Lobo on the page is such a broad character, and the tone of our show is so grounded, so it feels like a bit of a mismatch, but that’s kind of what’s exciting about it as well,” executive producer Cameron Welsh told Syfy Wire last summer. “He’s not going to ride around on space dolphins like he did in the comics, but he’s meant...

I very nearly started this preview of Action Comics #1008 with “Who would have guessed Steve Epting would be an Amazing Superman artist?” I realized about halfway through typing it, though, that this is an incredibly stupid thing to write. Literally everyone would have guessed that. Even me, once I thought about it for the briefest of seconds.
The initial surprise was seeded by the work I know him best from. His time on Captain America with Ed Brubaker and New Avengers with Jonathan Hickman is decidedly not-Supermannish. Cap was all about putting Steve Rogers in a hole so deep he could barely climb back out of, breaking him with his own past. New Avengers was the opposite and simultaneously darker by an almost ridiculous amount - ripping down the entire multiverse, while also tearing down the moral centers of the characters who mostly occupied the moral center of the Marvel Universe.

If anything can be said about Krypton, it’s that aside from examining Superman’s home planet from a different angle, the young DC series is serving up overdue adaptations of characters that lovers of comics have come to know for years. I mean, James Marsters was awesome as Brainiac over on Smallville, but seeing Blake Ritson appear as though he stepped right out of a book illustrated by Gary Frank caused me to majorly geek out.
Joining both the visually revamped Collector of Worlds and Adam Strange on the list of boxes being checked off is that of Lobo, who’ll soon be making his live action debut. Truth be told, it’s great that a TV show stepped in to do this because, as you may know, there’s been much difficulty in getting him on the big screen. Krypton Season 2 is bringing a Constantine vet back to play Lobo.
Krypton Season 2 is introducing Lobo. He'll be played by Emmett J. Scanlan (who portrayed Jim Corrigan on Constantine) will play the ruthless bounty hunter.
Lobo was created by Keith Giffen and Roger Slifer in the pages of Omega Men back in 1983. The character made the move from generic to a parody of '90s comics, thanks to the work of Giffen, Alan Grant, and Simon Bisley in Lobo: The Last Czarnian.
Lobo is the last of his race, the Czarnians, who murdered all of his fellow Czarnians mostly for the hell of it. He has at various times been contracted to kill Santa Claus, all of his children, criminals, and to find a murderer hiding in a planet-sized brothel by pleasing all of the women there until he can complete his mission. DC Comics villain Lobo will be wreaking havoc on the second season of Syfy’s Krypton. Producers announced the plan for the introduction of the character during the show’s panel Saturday at San Diego Comic-con. Casting for the character has not yet been announced.
Lobo is from the peaceful planet of Czarnia, born a devil in the midst of utopia. Loosely translated from his native language, his name means “he who devours your entrails and thoroughly enjoys it.” As a teenager, he single-handedly slaughtered his entire civilization, becoming the last of his race. Now the mercenary roams the universe on his motorcycle, getting paid for what he loves most—murder and mayhem.

It has got to be a special person whom you would willingly trap yourself in a car with for hours at a time. Road trips can make for a special kind of hell on wheels.
The dream: Someone who shares your taste in music, can handle the car you're in as well as the traffic around you, and can navigate without exhausting their data plan when you're driving.
The nightmare: Someone who sings all the notes wrong, gets triggered by every other car on the road, and snores from the passenger seat when they aren't correcting your driving technique. Also, body odor that could stun an elephant.
Of course, since we're pulling candidates from television, we're also looking at individuals of certain skills, temperament, and luck. Many of them come armed.
1. Tripper - Red Reddington - The Blacklist Red would probably have a driver to do all the driving and upgrade the car to boot.

If you're a fan of the Superman prequel series Krypton, you'll be happy to hear that the Syfy Channel has renewed it for a second season! In terms of superhero mythology, the Man of Steel remains the gift that just keeps on giving. Syfy's clever Krypton isn’t just another origin story – it's the origin behind the origin, going back a couple of generations into Superman's family history, on his native planet. Cameron Cuffe stars as Seg-El, Superman's grandfather, hundreds of years before the future protector of truth, justice and the American way Kal-El was born. He is an outcast there, ever since his own grandfather Val-El was killed for flaunting his unbecoming curiosity about...

Adam Strange continues to make his presence stranger for Seg as Superman's grandfather learns more about his mission.
Krypton Season 1 Episode 2 also focuses heavily on establishing the other houses further, particularly the House of El and Zod.
There is a lot to love in "House of El" from both a character standpoint as well as the story overall. One of them is, without doubt, Adam Strange.
I always expected Krypton to have a very dark tone given that it's a little grittier than the other DC shows. But Adam's presence helps Krypton have a light tone that is appreciated.
I didn't know I needed Kem and Adam interactions until seeing them meet for the first time. For some reason, they work so perfectly good together.

As superheroes stories have come to dominate every corner of the entertainment world, some of the biggest ones have gone through David Goyer. As a writer of “Batman Begins,” a key part in developing “Man of Steel,” and now one of the creative engines behind “Krypton,” Syfy’s new Superman prequel show, Goyer’s looking to help shape his own corner of DC’s TV efforts.
Any time a show or movie builds on the tenets of an existing character’s canon, the conversation inevitably turns to whether this is meant for diehards or for people unfamiliar with the source material. Goyer told IndieWire that it doesn’t make sense to pick just one of those groups
“I don’t think you can make something just for the fans. I really don’t. I’m a fan. I had over 10,000 comic books when I went off to college,” Goyer said.

'Adam Strange', DC Comics 1958 space-faring archaeologist, will be a regular character on Syfy's "Krypton", the live-action prequel TV series produced by David S. Goyer ("The Dark Knight") set on the home planet of 'Superman', 200 years before the feature "Man of Steel":
Adam Strange, created by editor Julius Schwartz and illustrator Murphy Anderson, debuted in DC Comics' "Showcase" #17 (November 1958).
"...Strange is an archeologist suddenly teleported from Peru to the planet 'Rann' through a 'Zeta-Beam'.

"...theorizing that in the 4.3 years it takes the Zeta-Beam to reach earth, it was altered by space radiation into a transportation beam.

The latest DC TV show to arrive on the airwaves is Syfy’s Krypton, an ambitious Superman prequel series which explores life on the titular planet 200 years before the Man of Steel’s birth. Though that sounds like it will be wholly separate from usual DC continuity, the series uses time travel to bring in familiar characters – most notably, the most comic-book faithful version yet of Brainiac.
So, seeing as it’s unafraid to tackle the wider DC universe, could Krypton crossover with The CW’s Arrowverse at some point? Beginning with Arrow in 2012, the shared multiverse has sucked in other network’s shows such as CBS’ Supergirl and NBC’s Constantine over the years, so it’s perfectly possible. That being said, fans shouldn’t expect it, as showrunner Cameron Welsh has nixed the idea that Krypton is part of the Arrowverse.
The news came out during the series’ panel at WonderCon in Anaheim.

The newest Superman prequel takes us back 200 years as we meet the Man of Steel's grandfather.
Krypton Season 1 Episode 1 is all about establishing Seg-El and a side of Krypton we have never seen.
When the show was first announced I will admit that I was hesitant. Why make a Superman show about Clark's grandfather?!
But those doubts disappeared quickly after seeing the first trailers. The pilot did, without a doubt, go past my expectations.

From a visual standpoint, we are seeing a completely new Krypton, past how Superman movies have portrayed it with crystals until Man of Steel changed that.
It helps that David Goyer, writer of Man of Steel, has a part in the design of Krypton. It feels in tune with the movie while still maintaining its own aesthetic.
Syfy must have paid a fortune for this budget! Seeing how...
Krypton Season 1 Episode 1 is all about establishing Seg-El and a side of Krypton we have never seen.

Let us introduce you to a new Syfy show premiering on Wednesday evening. It takes place on an alien planet, far removed from our world, but the people living there face problems all-too-recognizable — albeit in the context of a different societal structure from what we know. Houses battle for dominance within this society, while the “rankless” are constantly victimized and the dominant religion makes more demands upon its citizenship. Meanwhile, danger lurks on the horizon as an alien threat might destroy everything that’s been built.
It’s an intriguing premise, and yet that’s not all that’s going on with “Krypton” — because, as hinted by the title, the main character is Superman’s grandfather. That means there’s a whole other level of tension in play here. It’s so important that young Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) overcome his rejection from the higher levels of Krypton society and find his place in the world,...

Syfy’s new series Krypton takes a look at Superman’s home planet two centuries before the iconic superhero was even born. Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe) is Kal-El’s grandfather, making him Jor-El’s dad. While the house of El feuds with houses of Zod and Val, time traveler Adam Strange (Shaun Sipos) comes from the future to warn Seg […]

As a lifelong fan of both Superman and Batman, I can’t help but notice the balance between them when it comes to their adventures outside the comic book medium. In the case of the Dark Knight, he’s been cock of the walk in live action cinema and animation, but Big Blue has had the market cornered when it comes to live action television.
Really, even though it’s been quite some time since Adventures of Superman graced airwaves, Kryptonians have dominated the small screen since the late 1980’s, with Superboy, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Smallville and Supergirl all following each other in relatively quick succession.
Only now, there’s some serious overlap, as Metropolis is on the way and the long-gestating Krypton has finally arrived. But was it worth the wait? My short answer is “it depends on who you ask,...

Reign‘s Megan Follows has joined Syfy’s Wynonna Earp in the plum, recurring role of the title character’s “resurrected” mother, TVLine has learned.
Believed dead all this time, Michelle was revealed to in fact be alive, seen from the back as Wynonna approached her during the final moments of Season 2.
“Fine, you were right. Bulshar’s back,” Wynonna said to the unseen woman. “Now what do we do about it… Momma?”
Previewing Michelle’s introducing, showrunner Emily Andras previoulsy told TVLine, “Wrapped in a blanket, sitting in the middle of the wilderness staring out at a river… it...

Being somebody who watches most DC TV shows these days and is also a lifelong fan of the Man of Steel, even I must admit that I approached Krypton with some hesitation. After all, we already have Supergirl on the air, so one can only wonder how thinly this property can be spread over television. And with Metropolis now also being on the way, that argument has even more validity.
Still, it’s the devoted and curious fan in me that wants to give Krypton a try, especially when cool-looking promos are now dropping on a regular basis. In fact, what we have for you today further teases the series’ Terminator-esque plot that sees a villain in the present attempting to sever Big Blue’s bloodline in the past.

We've got a new promo spot here for you to watch for SyFy's upcoming DC series Krypton, which I'm actually pretty excited about seeing. I love the concept of the show because it explores a part of the superman lore that has never really been explored before. This new promo heavily centers on saving the legacy of Superman before he's even born and his iconic red cape is the main feature of the trailer.
Set two generations before the destruction of Superman’s home planet, Krypton follows Seg-El (Cameron Cuffe), the legendary Man of Steel’s grandfather, who is faced with a life and death conflict – save his home planet or let it be destroyed in order to restore the fate of his future grandson. With Krypton’s leadership in disarray and the House of El ostracized, Seg finds himself in a difficult position. He must redeem his family...
