HBO has renewed Fred Armisen’s “Los Espookys” for a second season.
The six-episode Spanish-language comedy series from Armisen and Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video premiered on June 14.
The half-hour comedy is “set in a strange and dreamy version of a present-day Latin American country following a group of friends turning their love for horror into a peculiar business,” according to HBO.

IFC has released a new trailer for its Funny or Die-produced miniseries parody "The Spoils of Babylon," based on the (fictional) bestselling novel of the same name by the (made up) author Eric Jonrosh. The six-part saga tells the Moorehouse family's dramatic triumph to tragedy story. In the new trailer, below, the young Moorehouse son Devon (Tobey Maguire) melodramatically narrates his past from childhood to adulthood and the success he experienced until the reemergence of smiling pistol-hoisting Winston (played by Haley Joel Osment).
