Diljit Dosanjh Once Slammed Hindi Film Industry In An Interview (Photo Credit –Instagram)
Diljit Dosanjh is one of the few actors who has been very shy in talking his heart out. But he once was triggered by something, and whatever the thing was, it made him go berserk and slam Bollywood and its practices left, right, and center. In this interview, Diljit expressed he was not interested in Bollywood.
In fact, the Amar Singh Chamkila actor did not hesitate to call out the superstars of Bollywood, and he was very sure that his work might be affected by these statements, but he was still unaffected and unfazed.
The interview was even shared on Reddit, and a lot of fans speculated and assumed that the interview came out after Good Newzz was released and it might have something to do with Akshay Kumar. Some comments even pointed out that Diljit wanted...

Kangana Ranaut Takes Digs At Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Wife Anupama Chopra(Photo Credit –Instagram/wikimedia)
Kangana Ranaut is one person who is impossible to decode. On days, she will love, and on other days, she will hate some. And this time, her wrath has been unleashed upon a famous film critic, journalist, and Bollywood life. So, like most of the time, Ms Ranaut has decided to take things out of context and put them in her hypothetical perspectives.
Kangana decided to take brutal digs at Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s wife for suggesting things about 12th Fail, which might have been true in terrible circumstances, but hopefully, the film worked well.
On her X account (formerly known as Twitter), Kangana Ranaut, through her account, Kangana Team, called out names for Anupama Chopra in a rather distasteful tweet. Anyone would have been shocked to read the contents of this tweet, which is now going viral.

Shah Rukh Khan might seem to be the most sensible man in Bollywood but there have been times when the actor has lost his calm and how! The same happened in the 90s when he was arrested after a journalist filed a complaint against Srk. But him being the Pathaan he is, he did not care still and threatened the journalist further in front of the policemen.
This story dates back to the time when Shah made a film called Maya Memsaab in 1992. He had shot some of the most explicit scenes of his career for the film. Some of the scenes were n*de as well. However, a magazine reported that the actor spent a night with actress Deepa Shahi to get comfortable before shooting for those scenes.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has recently done a discussion with the best actors of 2023, which included her Jaane Jaan co-star Jaideep Ahlawat, 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey, Kathal actress Jyothika, Animal actor Bobby Deol among others. One of the major parts of the discussion was the age-old debate of star vs actor.
Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about how it has been 23 years, and she has been constantly fighting to prove her worth as an actor and prove the fact that she is more than her looks. However, the actress asserted that while she knows that she brings much more to the table than just being a gorgeous woman, it is the industry and the thought process of the filmmakers.

Ranveer Singh Replaces Shah Rukh Khan For The 4th Time In Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 171
Speculations have been rife that after Shah Rukh Khan turned down Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film with Rajinikanth, called Thalaivar 171, the Leo director has approached Ranveer Singh for the extended cameo which surprisingly leaves us with a very valid question – Has Ranveer become Srk’s replacement in the industry?
Well, definitely, he was Salman Khan’s replacement earlier, as he replaced Bhai in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat as well. The Gunday actor even replaced Ranbir Kapoor in Dil Dhadakne Do, and while he has been the go-to actor for the past few years, his success has definitely been a testimony to the fact that these replacements have not gone wrong.
According to a Pinkvilla report, while Shah Rukh Khan was approached by Lokesh Kanagaraj for an extended cameo in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film, Srk politely passed the offer.

Why Animal Is A Box Office Blockbuster? Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Marketing Masterstroke That Fooled Everyone! ( Photo Credit – IMDb; T-Series / YouTube )
717 crore in just ten days! That’s what Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal had earned at the worldwide box, and all of this hasn’t come lightly. The amount of opinions this film has generated might be higher than what it has earned, and all thanks to Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s mischievous mind. Why mischievous? Because Animal is purely the result of the “Oh! You didn’t like Kabir Singh? Wait, I’ll show you how that was nothing” mindset.
Is it even ethical? Well, while we discuss ethics, producers of the film are just waiting to enter the 1000-crore club already working on the sequel ‘Animal Park,’ which will apparently be wilder than this one. Of course, it will be! Why not? When you can get this level of interest by going hardcore once,...

Those found guilty of film piracy by way of camcording in theaters or unauthorized copying and online transmission and exhibition of a pirated copy of any film will now face punishment of minimum three months imprisonment and a fine of $3,650, which can be extended up to three years imprisonment and fine up to 5% of the audited gross production cost.
The bill also introduces age-based categories of certification by further sub-dividing the existing UA category into seven years (UA 7+), 13 years (UA 13+) and 16 years (UA 16+), instead of 12 years. These age-based markers are recommendatory only, meant for the parents or guardians to consider whether their children should view a film. A focus on “Rrr” director S.S. Rajamouli will kick off “Modern Masters,” a documentary series on contemporary Indian creators.
The series is coproduced by the 60 billion Aditya Birla group’s prolific content production arm, Applause Entertainment, headed by Indian television pioneer Sameer Nair and Film Companion, one of India’s leading English-language entertainment journalism platforms, led by former Variety journalist Anupama Chopra.
Originated by former Film Companion journalist Baradwaj Rangan and Avinash Prakash, who works for the platform, the series developed because Chopra felt the dearth of credible documentaries on contemporary Indian cinema.
“I feel like the Indian film industry is not very good with archiving,” Chopra told Variety. “I couldn’t even think of one or two really solid documentaries, which capture an artist at a place and a time, which then becomes a portrait not just of the artists, but also of that specific zeitgeist and of that specific moment in history.

While much of the global entertainment industry is witnessing a full-throttled return to in-person events, India’s festival circuit is experiencing a chequered re-emergence from Covid, in part due to political and funding challenges.
Three weeks ago, the country’s biggest government-run festival, the International Film Festival of India (Iffi) in Goa, held its largest and most star-studded physical edition ever, but was marred by controversy when Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid, head of the international competition jury, described competition title The Kashmir Files as “a propaganda, vulgar movie, inappropriate for an artistic competitive section of such a prestigious film festival”. His comments prompted a storm of both abuse and support on social media, while Israel’s ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, wrote an open letter condemning Lapid’s statements.

Now that the dust has settled on the Cannes Film Festival, Netflix co-ceo Ted Sarandos is setting the record straight with festival artistic director Thierry Fremaux, who commented early on in the event that streaming platforms don’t discover talent in the same way.
At a pre-festival press conference, Fremaux had praised Netflix productions like “Mank” and “The Irishman” and also lauded the work of Sarandos and Scott Stuber. However, he asked: “What directors have been discovered by [streaming] platforms?”
Speaking at a Film Companion Front Row session hosted by noted Indian journalist and former Variety contributor Anupama Chopra on Thursday, Sarandos emphasized the brotherhood and shared passion for cinema, stories and storytellers between him and Fremaux.
“The only thing that happened between Netflix and Cannes is they changed the rules,” said Sarandos. “And I just thought, I don’t want to bring our films if we are uniquely excluded from competition.
