Hey, "The Voice" fans. Tonight, April 30, 2019 was the big night where the top 24 singers were narrowed down to just a measly 13. The live viewing audience voted overnight after watching the producers cram a whopping 24 performances into a two-hour show! Actually, about an hour and 45 minutes if you count commercials! What? Get out of here! As you can imagine, everyone was just rushed through their performances. The judges: Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and John Legend never had any time to comment on them due to rigorous time restraints. Anyways, so here we are tonight. The viewing audience was able to send 8 artists through with their Live voting results. Then each of the judges selected a wildcard to make it a top 12 scenario. After that, a Comeback Stage winner went head to head against an eliminated Cross Battles contestant to claim the final 13th spot. After a few comments from the judges,...

Games of Thrones‘ Battle of Winterfell had nothin’ on The Voice Tuesday. A dozen singers were eliminated during the Live Playoffs Results Show, and so, it appeared, was any chance Adam Levine had ever had of winning Season 16: His team was left with only two members, one of them from The Comeback Stage. Team Kelly Clarkson was left with just two contestants as well, Team John Legend had three, and Team Blake Shelton… holy crap, Blake got to keep six vocalists. So, which wannabes made it into the Top 12 — well, 13, since The Comeback Stage‘s winner is now back in the mix?...

A massive group of artists will be cut on “The Voice” tonight. The Top 24 of Season 16 performed on Monday evening’s episode, but now half of them will be going home in the matter of 60 minutes of results. And we’re not guaranteed that any of the coaches — Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — will have an even amount of competitors remaining, as in other seasons.
Here’s how this results program works. Eight artists regardless of team affiliation will advance straight into the Top 12 based on the audience votes of the past 24 hours. After that, each coach will get to save one of their own, rounding out the Top 12 and ensuring that each coach has at least one artist advancing. Also on Tuesday, the winner of “The Comeback Stage,” Kanard Thomas will perform live in a head to head against one of the yet-to-be-determined artists that...

Hey, "The Voice" fans. Tonight, April 29, 2019, the top 24 finally performed for your votes to get into the top 13. Of course, the judges: Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were on hand like they always are. For the first time, Apple streams will count as votes. There's a limit of ten streams per eligible song per Apple ID. To get things started tonight, Rod Stokes from Team Kelly hit the stage to sing, "Midnight Rider" by Allman Brothers. They didn't go to the judges for any comments on his performance or any other performances. I'm guessing that's because of time constraints. I mean they had 24 freaking people performing tonight. So, they had to hurry it along. The Voice gets good rating, but not that good. NBC's like, "You guys gotta wrap this show up in two hours." With that said, Matthew Johnson from Team Kelly Clarkson hopped on stage to sing,...

Monday’s two-hour episode of “The Voice” will be jam-packed as two dozen artists take to the stage to sing for America’s votes. Unlike previous seasons of the hit show, this 16th edition does not have the coaches coming into this round with the same-sized teams. Rather, following the live cross battles, Blake Shelton boasts a roster of eight artists while his pal Adam Levine has only four. Both reigning two-time champ Kelly Clarkson and rookie coach John Legend have the usual six artists apiece on their teams.
We’ve done some digging on iTunes and have discovered spoilers of the songs that the Top 24 will perform live on April 29. Take a look below at the titles of these tunes as well as the names of the artists that made them famous. Then cast your vote for the coach that you think has the strongest team at this stage of the season 16 competition.

The Top 24 on season 16 of “The Voice” will each sing for America’s votes on April 29. Each coach — reigning champ Kelly Clarkson, newcomer John Legend, three-time winner Adam Levine and six-time victor Blake Shelton — is fielding a team made up of contestants who survived the first-ever live cross battles.
We wondered which of these four music superstars was the best coach with the strongest team. “The Voice” viewers have voted and their top choice in our poll is Kelly with a whopping 35% of the vote. That isn’t surprising when you consider that this Grammy winner has coached the last two winners of the show (Brynn Cartelli and Chevel Shepherd).
Blake is the pick of just under one in three viewers (32%) to win for a seventh time. Only 18% of “The Voice” fans back the rookie coach John while just 16% expect Adam to finally add a fourth trophy to his mantle.

Blake Shelton is still looking for his lucky seventh victory as a coach on “The Voice” this fall. He has been a mentor on all 15 previous seasons of the show and has won a whopping six times to date: Jermaine Paul (season 2), Cassadee Pope (season 3), Danielle Bradbery (season 4), Craig Wayne Boyd (Season 7), Sundance Head (season 11) and Chloe Kohanski (season 13). Is winner number seven among the eight artists that Shelton is bringing to the live shows that kick off on April 29?
Of the four coaches on season 16, Shelton has the biggest team heading into the Top 24. His roster of eight includes: Oliv Blu, Kendra Checketts, Kim Cherry, Carter Lloyd Horne, Gyth Rigdon, Dexter Roberts, Selkii and Andrew Sevener.

Tuesday night on “The Voice” Season 17, Kalvin Jarvis of Team Adam Levine won his live Cross Battle against fellow R&B singer Julian King of Team John Legend. As a refresher, on Monday both men had put creative twists on songs from female artists: Dua Lipa‘s “New Rules” for Kalvin and Adele‘s “Hello” for Julian. Adam ended up losing two of his remaining three artists (Lb Crew and Kendra Checketts) during the results show, so Kalvin’s success kept him from experiencing a near-disaster on live television. Do You think America made the right choice to keep Kalvin?

Tuesday night on “The Voice” Season 17, Carter Lloyd Horne of Team Blake Shelton won his live Cross Battle against fellow “heartthrob” Jacob Maxwell of Team John Legend. Last night, April 22, 2019, The Voice 2019 Live Cross Battles took place for 8 pairs of singers from Team Kelly Clarkson, Team Blake Shelton, Team Adam Levine and Team John Legend. Afterwards, the viewing audience got to vote for who won each of the Live battles. Tonight,April 23, 2019, the results were revealed. John and Kelly both had "saves" available, and Blake had one steal he could use. The season 2017 "The Voice" champ Brynn Cartelli kicked off the show with a new performance. Right after that, they got right down to business with the results. Lb from Team Adam and Jej Vinson from Team Kelly were up first, and it was revealed that the viewing audience voted for Jej to win. That meant poor Lb lost and was eliminated. Lb said, "It was a pleasure, and I'm thankful." Next, they brought on Kendra Checketts from Team Adam and Jimmy Mowery from Team John Legend for their results.

Knowing that The Voice would be eliminating five singers in Tuesday’s second (and final) Live Cross Battles Results Show, I made a few fearless predictions before Season 16’s Top 24 were revealed. Thinking over Monday’s performances, and considering the results of TVLine’s poll, I figured that the contestants who’d be losing their Battles would be Team Adam’s Lb Crew, Team Legend’s Julian King, Team Legend’s Jacob Maxwell, Team Kelly’s The Bundys, Team Blake’s Karly Moreno, Team Legend’s Jimmy Mowery, Team Legend’s Beth Griffith-Manley and Team Kelly’s Abby Kasch.

It seemed on Monday night’s episode of “The Voice” that Blake Shelton might actually lose out on a country artist. All four coaches turned their chairs for Dexter Roberts and made passionate plays. But he, like virtually every other country singer in all of these seasons, selected Team Blake. Will Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine or John Legend ever be able to convince a country contender to choose them over Blake during the blind auditions?
Shelton is a six-time champion over the course of the past 15 seasons. Both he and three-time winner Levine have never missed a cycle of the Emmy-winning program. Clarkson has reigned for the past two seasons. Legend is a brand new addition.
