Laura Rebecca studied Drama and English at Hofstra University in New York, and while pursuing an acting career in Los Angeles, earned an MS in Education at the University of Southern California.
She went on to return to New York to teach Theater and Film, and at the same time began producing short films through her independent film company, Olive Street Films, LTD. Her film projects have included documentary, narrative, animation, and experimental film as well as music videos and commercial works.
Laura studied Directing and Filmmaking at New York Film Academy's Paris Program, and her films have screened at Cannes Short Film Corner, New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, and the SoDak Animated Film Festival.
After dissolving Olive Street Films LTD in 2012, Laura returned to Los Angeles. She continues to teach, and also performs in film and voice over projects.
