The Phoenix Foundation made a new hire!
Bozer officially joined the team this week on MacGyver Season 1 Episode 9.
Thornton agreed to finally release him from the Foundation’s custody, but only after he agreed to take a job in the lab.
Welcome to the Phoenix Foundation

At first I rolled my eyes at the interrogation scenes between Bozer and Thornton, since they are my two least favorite characters. But by the last encounter, I was actually digging the chemistry between those two.
Moving forward, I hope they will stay back in La (well, Thornton, at least) while Mac, Jack and Riley take on the world out in the field.
This week, the super trio headed to Latvia to pick up a terrorist named Janis (who may be forming the next Isis?). But the easy-peasy mission didn’t go as planned.

We've been hearing about a "MacGyver" movie for many years, but ended up with a spoof called "MacGruber." But now comes word that New Line Cinema has entered negotiations with James Wan, the director of "Saw" and "Insidious." Based on the 1980s TV series starring Richard Dean Anderson, the show followed Angus MacGyver, an agent of the fictional government agency The Phoenix Foundation. MacGyver never carried a gun, using his wits and whatever was lying around to fight criminals. Wan's movies are often profitable, but "Insidious" became the most profitable film of 2010. He's now working on "The Conjuring" for New Line, which recently tested the movie and was so pleased with the results that the studio gave it a summer release.

Insidious and Saw director James Wan could end up directing the big screen adaptation of MacGyver! Apparently New Line Cinema loved his latest film project, The Conjuring, so much that they want him to take on MacGyver. He's currently in talks with the studio to develop it.
Wan is mostly known for his horror films that also include Dead Silence and action thriller Death Sentence. He's a talented director and his films have been progressively getting better. I actually wouldn't mind seeing him take on MacGyver, I think he'd do a great job with it!
The movie will be based off of the classic 1980s TV series which starred Richard Dean Anderson. There's no plot details on the film, but the show centered on the character Angus MacGyver, an agent of The Phoenix Foundation. He never carried a gun and relied on his mad skills to create weapons and other...

I always am open for directors to try new genres and new movies, but this is a weird mix. James Wan, who helped create the Saw franchise, Insidious, and the upcoming The Conjuring, is in talks to direct the big screen version of MacGyver, according to Variety. #13 – “Eagle vs. Shark” (2007)
Directed by Taika Waititi
At first glance the Antipodean comedy “Eagle vs. Shark” appears very much cut from the same comedic cloth as Jared Hess’ 2004 ode to geekdom “Napoleon Dynamite” with its socially inept lead characters, quirky soundtrack and offbeat comic sensibilities. On closer inspection, however, Taika Waititi’s debut feature reveals itself to be something altogether different; a charming romantic comedy fuelled by a witty script, a great cast, a gorgeous soundtrack and a great deal of heart.
Fans of cult TV series “Flight of the Conchords” will already recognize lead actor Jemaine Clement who, as Jarrod, most closely resembles the inimitable Mr. Dynamite with his underdeveloped social skills, lack of sexual expertise and penchant for videogames, kung fu and dressing up as his favourite animal (“I almost came as a shark actually, but then I...
