Melissa Mullins(I)

Melissa Mullins was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and resides in
Newport Beach, California. She was adopted at birth and the only child
of James E. Mullins an inventor and Engineer and Corrie Mullins a
business woman, both deceased. Her biological mother Martha Keys, also
deceased, was a professional singer. In her early years, Melissa was a
ballet dancer and was discovered at 15 in Little Rock, Arkansas by an
adjudicator for The American Ballet Theatre in New York and awarded a
scholarship. Other scholarships were awarded to her by The Martha
Graham Modern Dance Company, as well as an acting scholarship to the
famous Lee Strasberg's acting school in Los Angeles. From a young age
she was asked to model but decided against it after modeling briefly
for Teen Magazine. Dance, creative performance and singing were her
passions. Melissa's first Co-production was the short film "Descent"
which was sold to "The Sundance Company"(Robert Redford's Company) for
release. After dancing 12 years in the theatre, she continued her
education and attended Worcester College at The University of Oxford in
Oxford, England. Her film and television studies were at UCLA,
including earlier studies at The University of Houston where she was
named the outstanding graduate in her class, graduating with a B.S.
degree in Land Management.
Melissa also has a passion for business and worked in banking for almost 6 years and then 8 years with fortune 100 companies as an executive in land acquisitions and joint ventures, the most notable being the Marvin Davis billion dollar acquisition into Apache Corporation in Houston, Texas. She has also been in real estate 20 years and at one time acquired the distinction of being in the top 1% Internationally (U.S. and Canada) in sales with Prudential California Realty in Newport Beach,CA.
Melissa previously worked as a Producer/Creator/Writer with Blue Prism Media at Raleigh Studios in Manhattan Beach, CA where she created, wrote and produced television and film projects under her company and with other colleagues and their companies. One notable television project with a colleague "Repo Team Network" (Now named "Global Treasure Hunt Network") is referenced in "The Hollywood Reporter" April 1, 2008. Melissa is more recently known as the Co-Producer for the famous Bio Pic film "Polanski Unauthorized", which premiered in 2009 in Los Angeles and New York, receiving alot of press and was extensively reviewed by Academy Award Historian Robert Osborn in "The Hollywood Reporter". Today Melissa continues her work in real estate sales, mortgage lending and investments and continues to write, create and dream.
