Composer V Harikrishna is giving finishing touches to the music, which should be released by the end of the month.” The film has an impressive star cast, as it includes Darshan as Duryodhana around whom the story revolves, Ambareesh as Bheeshma, V Ravichandran as Krishna, Arjun Sarja as Karna, Sneha as Draupadi, Meghna Raj as Bhanumati, Bharathi Vishnuvardhan as Kunti, Nikhil Gowda as Abhimanyu, Ravishankar as Shakuni, Sonu Sood as Arjuna, P Ravishankar as Dushasana and Shashikumar as Dharmaraya, along with a host of others. He is busy with the upcoming election, but as soon as it is over, his aim will be to release Kurukshetra at the earliest.” The shooting for this film began last year and a major chunk of it was shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, where huge sets were erected for the purpose. According to reports, the makers of Kurukshetra are planning to release it in the 2D and 3D formats. Jay Vincent will be cranking the camera and Jo Ni Harsha will be editing it. Munirathna is reportedly spending a whopping Rs 210 crore on the project. With grand sets erected for the shooting, sources say that fans can expect a visual treat.
