Freddy Allen grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. Since his
childhood he has dreamed of making movie magic. Alien, Halloween and
the creations of Ray Harryhausen made an impact on young Freddy that
would not soon be forgotten. His Dad taught him how to build play sets
for his action figures from foam, toothpicks and a little imagination.
He built forts and designed battlefield layouts with painted battle
worn armies leaving no detail untouched. After high school graduation
Freddy had no idea of how to make his dream a reality; so he began his
lifetime journey taking on any job or project he felt would further
enhance his skills in his goal to make it to Hollywood.
After doing a four-year tour in the United States Air Force, he started taking classes at Texas State Technical College and earned an Associates Degree in Digital Imaging and Design Technology. He began working at the local CBS station and quickly moved up the ranks to director but this still was not quite the satisfaction Freddy was looking for. It was not until he enrolled at The Art Institute of Phoenix that he realized he could finally achieve his lifetime goals. Here he had the pleasure of having David Stipes as an instructor who worked on some of Freddy's most memorable childhood shows such as Creepshow, V and The Darkroom series. Under the mentorship of Stipes, Freddy soon excelled past his peers and began writing, directing and producing his first short film. He also became popular with the local bands for being able to deliver professional quality music videos on a minimal budget; this in-turn earned him an opportunity to work alongside his peers and earned him his first IMDb credit for visual effects.
Since graduating from AiPX with a Bachelors Degree in Visual Effects and Motion Graphics Freddy has established Fallen Film and currently resides in Long Beach, California to continue with his love of movie magic.
