As you know I am a huge fan of the art of animation, especially traditional animation and I was recently sent this incredibly wonderful animated short for a Pirate adventure called Pyrates, which is in no way associated with the new TV series that Ridley Scott is developing for Fox. This animated short was created by students from the Gobelins school of animation in France. The students who developed this project include Yves "Balak" Bigerel, Bruno Dequier, Ben Fiquet, Nicolas Gueroux and Julien Le Rolland.
This was released a few years so maybe some of you have already seen, but if you haven't you're in for something very cool. I absolutely love the incredible amount of detail packed into this thing and fluidly flowing movement of the animated characters is amazing. On top of that the story is extremely fun and humorous.
I would love to see more animated feature films like this.
