Joe Stripp was born on 3 February 1903 in Harrison, New Jersey, USA. He was an actor, known for Columbia Panoramics: Tomorrow's Stars (1940). He died on 10 June 1989 in Orlando, Florida, USA.
Third baseman with the Cincinnati Reds (1928-1931), Brooklyn Dodgers (1932-1937), St. Louis Cardinals (1938[start]), and Boston Bees (aka Braves) (1938[end]); his best year hitting was 1931 when he hit .324 for the Reds. After he retired, he ran a baseball camp for young men; he promised the best players a tryout in the minor leagues.
