Nine Inch Nails frontman could follow Oscar-winning soundtrack success with cameo role in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
With an Oscar for The Social Network under his belt, Trent Reznor is reportedly planning to complete his leap from music to movies by acting in a forthcoming horror film. The Nine Inch Nails leader will allegedly play one of the titular bloodsuckers in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
It was only a matter of time before Reznor, parlayed his soundtrack success into acting. After enlisting Reznor and Atticus Ross to score to The Social Network, director David Fincher tapped the duo to work on his forthcoming Girl With the Dragon Tattoo adaptation. Now, according to Badass Digest, Reznor has been asked not just to score Timur Bekmambetov's tale of vampires v presidents, but to appear in a cameo role.
The film is based on a novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, imagining Lincoln as a take-no-prisoners Van Helsing.
