- In his youth, he participated in international sport competitions. He is a former Yugoslav team handball player who competed in the Summer Olympics and he played 37 matches as a member of the Yugoslav handball team.
- In 1996 he began his career as writer/director winning The National Contest of Association Beaumarchais/SACD the grant-in-aid the "Award Association Beaumarchais/SACD for his project of film Archaos.
- In 1998 he wrote and directed documentary Zona Arizona looking for the response if the common life between belligerents is still possible on the Yugoslav land destroyed by civil war tragedy. Zona Arizona won award "Traces de vies" - 1998 at the International Documentary Film Festival Clermont-Ferrand. (France).
